47- just a dream

"AH!" You jerk upwards from the mattress and hold out a hand in front, as if reaching out for something.

"Baby.." You immediately hear a voice beside you and you spin your head to look at Jungkook, who was laying down previously, but upon seeing you wake up so suddenly, he sits up as well.

"Are you okay?" He palms his hand on your back, rubbing it up and down to calm you down, while holding your stretched out hand to pull you closer.

"I.." your surroundings confirm to you that you're in your home, the same bedroom and it's almost morning judging from the dimly lit sky outside.

"Did my baby have a nightmare?" he pouts. "Come here.."

You look at him as he opens his arms wide and you don't think of anything before hurriedly climbing into his lap and throwing your arms around his shoulders.

He sees your terrified face, sweaty and scared. You stare at him continuously with big eyes which makes him smile out of adore.

"Kiss me." He commands.

"Huh-?" you snap out of your thoughts before going over his words again and leaning forward to obey what he said. But he stops you.

"What are you thinking? It was just a dream. Don't worry, you're safe now." he says tucking your hair behind your ears. "Wanna share what happened?"

"Yeah- I saw you.." you say.

"Bet it was one of those dreams."

You take in a deep breath and look down with closed eyes for a few seconds, before raising your head back up and joining your forehead with his. You shake your head side to side.

You can feel your dry throat and the cold sweat all over your skin.

"It was so terrifying, we both almost lost each other." you say and his mouth parts.

"Hell nah." He says through a laugh. "I'd hate to see something like that right in the morning."

"Yeah..it was just a dream.." you say and snuggle into his arms as he leans back and rests his back on the headboard.

"Give me my kiss." He asks you pulling a blanket over your bodies. "Or I'll be mad."

A light smile climbs your lips as you raise your head to meet his eye level and he eagerly leans down to press his lips right on yours.

They fit perfectly, so perfectly that a kiss between them can never go wrong. They're made for each other.

You look down at his skin. It's normal and just like yours, the mist like, see through skin is gone and slowly you start to get over the nightmare you just saw. You tell yourself you're okay and safe.

"Do you wanna sleep in or get started with the day, hm?" He asks brushing his fingers through your hair as if you were a child, your long skirt of a faded brown colour drapes around your waist but it reveals your one leg from the front due to a slit.

These really help to keep your body cool in the current hot weather.

"Don't wanna go back to sleep or get up from bed.." you cuddle closer to his body, your skins squishing against each other's softness. "Just wanna stay with you for a while.." you brush your nose with his.

"That's what I'd want all day.." he says jutting his chin forward to place his lips on yours again, and you smile into the kiss.

"What happened?" he asks after parting away.

"I guess I kinda know why I got that nightmare." you giggle.
