48- Prick!

You and Jungkook see the carriages departing in a distance after dropping you at the royal garden, a couple of guards standing on the road far away.

"Why did we have to bring those two?" the dark haired rolls his eyes at them.

"So that we don't get kidnapped, dummy." you hold his hand with yours and pull him towards the entrance. "They can't see us, so don't worry."

That's true, because the garden has a curtain made out of thick vines which fully block the view of what's going on inside.

"Don't pluck lychees." You say. "If we give out all of them nothing will be left for me."

"Lychees before everything, hm?" He chuckles leading the way as you both enter the garden.

"Exactly."

"Look at that!" He points in a distance and you catch a bunch of butterflies flying here and there in the garden.

"Ahh spring is the best season." You take a deep breath in and exhale, the fresh air making your body feel clean.

There's a blanket of colourful flowers on the entire garden floor, it looks like a fairyland. Jungkook leaves your hand and jumps in a try to catch a butterfly but it jets away before he can even touch it.

Instead he falls over.

You laugh following him, clutching the basket in your hands. There's a light breeze which makes your hair and dress fly sideways, you look up at the blue sky with fluffy white clouds.

Jungkook quickly grabs a flower from the grass and spins around to offer it to you, to cover up for the failed and embarrassing butterfly catching, he flashes a toothy smile which leaves you in awe.

You hold the flower from him and observe it for a few seconds before sniffing it, and your eyes close at the pretty scent.

You smile and tuck the little flower into the basket, as Jungkook shakes off some dust from his knees.

He now holds your hand again and you both run through the breeze like little kids. You spot a cherry blossom tree in a distance, which had been gifted to the kingdom by a guest many years ago.

It had gotten huge by now, and the flowers were in their blooming season which makes it the best part.

Jungkook turns around while running to face you, pulling you closer as he looks up at the trees. "I need to come back here for a painting session."

"That sounds fun." You reply.

"Hey, remove these." He signals at your feet and you look down to find his finger pointed towards your sandals.

"Oh, sure. Why though?" You ask leaning down to slide them off while he does the same for himself.

"Let's feel some fresh grass under our feet for some goddamn time." He insists and you giggle before looking up at him with big eyes.

He smiles back down at you with softened features as he brushes his thumb on your cheek.

However, something behind you catches his eye.

"Oh look!" His eyes point behind you to which you turn around and see a couple of rabbits hopping through the plants.

"You." you giggle and Jungkook shows his bunny like teeth through a smile.

"Let's go that way."

You both glide through the huge garden, slipping into its deeper cores.

You don't remember when everything turned into a game of tag and Jungkook was now chasing you with all his might. You both run around trees, almost falling at some points too. Your laughter was limiting you from running at your full speed, and that is why not much later Jungkook had caught you and now you both were rolling on the floor.
