"The thing is, what we always knew was that our father is an unemployed, irresponsible jerk who's eating up his father's savings to survive and everything temporary- hangovers from alcohol or addictions to cigarettes. What we didn't know though, was that the unbelievably infinite amounts of money which he named 'savings' wasn't anything like it. That, was actually fresh currency he earned off of his first wife's bank- the one he had married before my mom. He had married her for her money- for she was the heir of a noble family in the king's palace, and when she finally managed to get my father a job in the administration as a worker, the first thing that happened was the king's eye landing on Taehyung." Jungkook says spreading a strip of glue on the envelope's cover.

"My father was already busy with my mother, isn't it? So there was no one to notice Taehyung's mother torment herself for the sake of her back biter husband. Little did she know, the one she was doing this for was bringing her nightmare to life behind her back. But, when our father saw benefits knock on the door of his previous home, he returned to Taehyung and made that home his primary residence, and it was our turn to suffer then." He closes the envelope and places it inside his bag.

"Slowly, our father lost interest in my mother, stopping to care for her at all and walked away from us. On the other side of the story, Taehyung was a phenomenal fighter. He had to protect his mom way back in time when our dad wasn't there for them, she suffered just like my mom did as well, and in that course of time, he learned techniques which sound unbelievable unless witnessed by the eye. And so, when the higher ups noticed his skills through our father, they wanted him. But Taehyung's mom refused, she knew his son was going to get used inside the tall and concrete walls of the central system. All politics, which soon used their own ways to get what they wanted."

"But Taehyung got inside the palace ultimately, didn't he?" You asked leaning over the table from the opposite side.

"Yes, and that was at one condition." Jungkook looks back at you.

"Stop! What are you doing Aban?!" A woman cried at the man standing in her home's doorframe with an army of armed men holding fire torches behind him.

The woman was clutching her shirt close to her, which was about to get ripped off by a soldier who sighed down at her. "Shut up you whore, you gambled your own body for a job in the name of your cheater husband."

"Stop it." Aban says, on the other hand, he let her words enter his one ear and exit from the other, shutting his eyes close to suppress his tears which arised the moment his sword pierced the woman's husband's chest, who now lied stone cold on the floor, blood flowing through his skin and pooling on the ground beneath.

"Look for the boy and.." his gaze lands on the two children sobbing through their terrorised eyes, which were shot wide open at the unbelievable sight in front of them.

'Kill everyone you see inside that house except that one guy you have to fetch back alive, remember what you owe the king before you decide to take matters in your own hands.'

The words ring inside Namjoon's ears to which he squeezes the grip of his sword in his hands, nose tinting a red colour when he realises he has to take the lives of mere children at this point.

"Execute the minors as well." He commands, but what else could he do? Not like it was in his hands afterall. He had to do everything step by step like he was told to.

Flashes of his father coughing inside the dark jails right underneath the ground above which sat king's throne appear in front of his eyes to which he takes in a deep breath.

He watches two soldiers march towards the kids who try to scream but fail when the guards slap a hand above their mouths, dragging them outside to behead them and dispose their bodies. One of them manages to grab a hold of Namjoon's armour chains, to which the 16 year old turns to the child with painful eyes.
