Alison walked out of the public library with a pile of books in her hands. A guard ran to her and took the books from her hands. "Thanks, Rob." she smiled at the guard who nodded for her and walked toward the car where three more guards were waiting for her.
Alison began to walk to the car slowly while managing the papers in her hand. She groaned as some of them slipped out and fell to the ground. She knelt and quickly gathered them before standing up again.
She looked up and then froze as her eyes locked with a pair of familiar black eyes, staring back at her from across the street. At first, she thought her tired eyes were playing with her, but he was definitely standing there, watching her like a hawk.
He had changed over the past two years. He was lean and muscular, clad in a black shirt and jeans and a brown leather jacket. His hands were in his pockets and he looked nonchalant, standing on the sidewalk. But Alison could feel the intensity of his gaze fixed on her. His cold eyes could freeze any living soul at their sight and she felt her heart skip a bit.
"Fred!" she whispered shocked.
"Ma'am." she jumped and looked at one of the guards who had called her and a second later, she looked back to where she had last seen her ex but to her surprise, she saw no one. She looked around franticly looking for him but saw no one.
"Ma'am, What is it?" asked the guard and Alison looked at him. His hard eyes were searching around expertly looking for any threats and he had stood protectively in front of her. Once he saw nothing he looked back at her confused.
"Nothing," said Alison and touched her forehead, again glancing at where Fred had stood. "Nothing."
She sat in the car and closed her eyes as the driver drove away. She gulped and put a hand on her heart that still was beating fast. She was sure it was him. She couldn't have hallucinated, could she?
Alex walked into the house early that night. Although if you could call 9 in the evening early. Yet it was a record for him over the past few months. He had worked all of the last night till morning, searching for the gang that had participated in kidnapping Mason's kids. Let's just say a blood bath was not enough to describe what had happened last night at the gang's safe house.
He was tired and missed Alison a lot. He had not seen her for two days.
"Sir," said the butler and helped him to take off his coat. "Welcome home."
Alex nodded. "Where is my fiance?" he asked eager to see Alison and relax in her arms.
"She is in your room, sir." answered the old man as they walked more into the house. "She had her dinner early tonight and said she is tired and retired for the night."
Alex didn't waste time going upstairs. He opened the door and stood in the door frame smiling at the mesmerizing sight in front of him. Alison had sat on the vanity that was in front of the door and was brushing her long hair. She was in a short thin strap light pink silk nightdress, looking like an angel.
"Alex!" gasped Alison, looking at Alex through the mirror, shocked to see him early home, but certainly deeply happy. She turned and stood up and ran to him who meet her mid-way.
She jumped into his arms, wrapping her legs around his waist and locking her arms behind his neck and he didn't waste time kissing her lips hungrily. Soon he found himself sitting at the edge of the bed with Alison straddling his lap without cutting the kiss. He caressed her bare thighs and shivered in pleasure as she moaned deliciously into the kiss.
They pulled away breathless after a moment and stared at each other before bursting into laughter. Alison hugged his neck tightly. "God, I have missed you." she said and once again pulled away and stared at his eyes.
