A/N: Hold your hearts tightly and keep some tissues with you. Please don't hate me. I hate myself so much for writing this bloody sad chapter. It was hard for me to do it but here we go ...

They turned the last turn of the road and immediately saw the perimeter flashing with red and blue lights.

"Oh God!" panted Rich and ran his hand through his hair for the hundredth time. His body was trembling as his frantic eyes searched the area that was covered with police and ambulances. His heart was jumping out of his chest and he had gone nuts from worry.

He jumped out of the car before it stops completely and dashed outside. "KATE!" he shouted once he saw his wife's body on a stretcher that was being rolled toward an ambulance. Suddenly an officer stopped him in his tracks.

"Sir, you can't go forward." said the officer.

"THAT IS MY WIFE, YOU IDIOT." roared Rich and pushed the officer out of his way, and ran to Kate again.

"Kate!" he called once he reached the stretcher and he looked down at his deathly pale and unconscious wife, lying motionless on the stretcher attached to an IV with an oxygen mask on her face. "What's wrong with her?"

"She had a miscarriage." answered the nurse as they put Kate in the ambulance. Any blood drained from Rich's face and all voices around him become muffled. He only stared at the nurse's mouth that was moving. His whole body went numb and he felt like someone killed something inside of him.

"SIR!" shouted the nurse who was now in the ambulance holding the door and brought Rich out of his trance. "We should take her to the hospital before she dies from blood loss. Are you coming?"

Rich didn't answer. He just jumped inside and sat next to the nurse. He took Kate's hand in his as tears ran down his face. "Oh, god." he sobbed and his shoulders shook with tears. Hot pain erupted in his heart as he clutched into Kate's cold hand for dear life. "Oh, god, Kate. I'm so sorry, love. I'm terribly sorry."

Ben rushed outside of the car after Rich and ran toward the house, but he stopped in his tracks when he saw a stretcher lowered to the ground and three nurses looming over a body, performing CPR and giving electrics shock.

He didn't need to see Albert knelt down next to the stretcher to know who was laying there. He had already seen the grayish blond hair that belonged to his father. Numbness spread through his body and he become deaf as his eyes got fixed on the stretcher and the group of nurses who were trying to bring back his father.

He wanted to laugh at the nurses' futile attempts. He knew his father had embraced the angel of death the moment he had seen it coming for him. A distant memory played in his mind.

He had stood next to his father in the cemetery, watching the grave of his mother. Two months had passed since her mother's death. He looked at his father who had stood there, staring at the black stone with a cold expression on his face. His fists were balled into tight fists and he looked to be deep in thought. His eyes looked so cold and stern but if you could break the icy layer, you would have been drowned in the bottomless ocean of sadness and grief.

"Dad," called Ben softly worried for his father. He knew his father had fallen into depression after his mother's death but he was masking his emotions to look tough for the sake of his son. "It's gonna rain. We should leave."

"This is the last time I will come here." answered Tony. "Your mother was my life, Ben. I feel dead without her." he then turned to Ben and put a hand on his shoulder. His intense blue eyes got fixed on his son's green eyes which reminded him of his love. A traitorous tear slipped from his eyes, questioning his cold as stone exterior.
