A/N: This is for you guys. I hope you enjoy it. It's very long but read till the end, please. It's as I promised. The day of the wedding from each couple's point of view.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Anna forced a smile at the guy who had stood in front of her, babbling nonstop about himself and his achievements, and Anna's forceful smiles and uninterested answers were not giving him the hint. Also, he had stood too close to Anna, and with each discreet step she was taking back he was taking one forward.
Damien had noticed this earlier and was about to step forward but she had discreetly shaken her head, not wanting to make a scene and Damien had left.
Although, Anna was giving the man the credit for being handsome. His name was James. He had a lean body and looked good in his black suit. His blond hair was a bit tousled, giving him a more boyish look and his blue eyes were sparkling with happiness and pride as he talked.
But not as handsome as Xander.
Thought Anna and glanced at the entrance, sighing when she didn't see Xander. After Alison and Alex had come down from the altar, Xander was fast to approach Anna and kiss her lips possessively, but he was silent as they walked out of the church and during the whole ride to the reception.
He had then dropped Anna there and had left, saying he will come back soon, but he was now nowhere to be seen.
"Anna?"
Anna jumped a bit when James called her name and she felt an arm snaking around her waist. She looked up and saw him looking at her confused.
"Are you fine, darling?" he asked and began to rub small circles on her back. "You look a bit lost."
"Um, no, I'm fine." she answered and tried to pull herself out of his arm. But he tightened his hold on her waist and pulled her to his chest suddenly.
Anna yelped and put both hands on his chest to make some distance between them and tried not to shiver in disgust. Though, a ghost of memories of the two times she was almost raped crept into her mind and made her feel extremely sick. Now she needed Damien's help. But unfortunately, they were in a corner almost hidden behind the people who were standing around the dancing floor.
"What are you doing?" she asked a bit loudly.
James smirked a bit and leaned forward to whisper in her ear. "Am I making you nervous, darling?" he whispered and tightened his hold on her back. "I should admit you look so ravishing. Do you like to leave here? We can go to my place."
Anna huffed and tried to push him away. Unfortunately, her tight dress was limiting her movements. "Let me go, James." she hissed angrily. "Now!"
"Come on, darling." whispered James and tried to bury his head in her neck, but Anna pulled away. "Don't play hard to get."
"Continue what you are doing and you will not see another sunrise."
Anna sighed in relief when the voice she loved the most boomed around them. James quickly let go of her waist and stepped back with a fearful glint in his eyes. Anna quickly turned around and shivered at the dark and menacing look that was in Xander's eyes who had just stood behind her.
He quickly wrapped his arm around her and pulled her to his rock-hard chest, making Anna sigh in contentment and press herself more to him.
"You fine?" he asked softly and looked down with concerned eyes.
"Yes, thank you." she answered quietly and looked up at his blazing furious eyes. "Calm down, Xander."
"Sorry, man." said James as he took a step back again, gulping in the process. "I didn't know she was yours. No hard feelings."
