Alison was running in a forest. She was in a white strapless wedding gown. She was holding up the skirt of the gown with her hands to prevent from tripping over her feet. Her heart was beating fast and the sound of her heavy breathing was the only thing she could hear.
The trees were bare of any leaves and their menacing branches were clawing at her skin as she ran between them. Her hair was a mess and her arms were full of scratches. The mist had covered around, limiting her eyesight.
Suddenly she walked out of the trees and found herself at the edge of a cliff. She looked down and saw waves crashing at the hard rocks.
"You really thought you can run away from me?"
Alison's heart skipped a bit and she whipped around, facing the owner of the voice. Her body began to tremble and she took a step back as she saw Fred standing there. He was exactly looking like the day she had seen him in front of the library.
His hands were in his pockets and his face was stone cold. Only this time, he had no glasses and Alison could see his black eyes and she felt a shiver run down her spine at seeing those holes to naught.
He began to walk toward her and Alison found herself rooted in her place, unable to take a step as if some unseen ropes had bond her to the ground. He soon was in front of her and tilted his head and smirked devilishly.
"Oh but honey, you were wrong." he whispered and suddenly his eyes turned all black and the white in them vanished. He brought his hands out of his pocket and Alison's eyes widened as she saw them dripping with blood. "You made a great mistake by choosing him over me. I told you that you will be mine in the end. But you didn't listen and now he is dead because of you."
He spat and then grabbed Alison's face with both hands and turned her face to see something behind him. A body was on the ground covered by blood and Alison let out a bloodcurdling scream as she saw who it was.
"Alex!" she screamed and jolted upward, panting hard, and opened her eyes in the dark room.
"Fuck!" yelled Alex and quickly sat up and turned on the bedside lamp, looking around franticly searching for any threats.
"Alex!" gasped Alison and her eyes welled up as she saw him sitting beside her alive and fine. The next second, she was in his lap, hugging him around his neck tightly. She sobbed as she felt his strong arms wrapped around her and rubbing her back soothingly.
"Oh, my god." cried Alison. "You are alive. You are alive."
"Shhh," said Alex, relaxing when he understood it was only a nightmare. He kissed her temple lightly and caressed her hair. "It's alright, my love. It was only a nightmare."
Alison pulled away, but her arms were still around his neck as she stared into his gray eyes. "He had killed you because of me." she sniffled.
"Tell me what did you see." said Alex and kissed her forehead after he pushed her hair that had stuck there. He listened as she told him about her nightmare and his frown deepened.
"Alison, you should not be this afraid of him." said Alex. "He has no power. He can't overpower me."
"But what if he somehow gains power?" asked Alison. She cupped his cheeks and stared into his eyes intently. "Promise me, Alex. Promise you will take care of yourself. You can't leave me alone. You can't."
Alex leaned down and kissed her lips softly. "I won't leave you. I promise." he said and smiled at his fiance. He then laid back down and brought Alison with him. She laid on his chest listening to his heartbeat as he played with her hair.
"I can't live without you." she whispered. "I can't bear it without you."
"So do I." said Alex. "That is why I will fight for you to death."
