The first thing Anna felt when she got back her consciousness was a searing pain that erupted in her ribcage, making her groan in pain.

"It's time to wake up, bitch." Said a man with a malicious but annoyed voice and Anna's eyes fluttered open. She was lying on the floor of the back of a van in an awkward position on the ground on her stomach. Her whole body was aching and her brain was fuzzy. Her face was pressed to the cold metal of the floor of the van's truck and her hands were tightly tied behind her back.

Her eyes got fixed on a pair of army boots that were probably the cause of the pain in her ribcage.

The doors of the back of the van opened and the owner of the shoes harshly grabbed her ties and pulled her to her feet. She cried in pain as the man shoved her out of the car and she hardly made contact with the ground. Her right side made the contact and another wave of pain erupted in her body. Scraps and gravel scratched all length of her arm and she groaned in pain again. Her hair sprawled around her and on her face, limiting her vision.

Two men jumped down beside her and one of them grabbed her ties again and pulled her shaky body to her feet. "Move!" grunted the man and shoved her forward.

She stumbled a bit but managed to gain her balance and looked around her. It was dawn and the air was chilly. It seemed they were in the middle of nowhere. At least 10 vans and a few cars were parked in a dirt area in front of a white two-story building and armed men were jumping out of the cars.

From what she could gather, they were still in America, hopefully of course. She couldn't have been blacked out for that long for them to get to Spain and besides men were talking in both Spanish and English.

Suddenly something caught her attention as she walked toward the front doors of the building. A young man, probably Xander's age, got out of a car, carrying an unconscious Alison bridal style.

"Alison!" cried Anna loudly as the young man stepped on the front stairs of the building.

"Shut it, bitch!" shouted the man and shoved her again.

This time she lost her balance and fell on the stairs. Her knees were knocked to the concrete stairs and she tasted blood as her chin made contact with one of the stairs and she unconsciously bit her tongue hard.

Tears of pain ran down her face as she was once again pulled to her wobbly feet forcefully. The man grunted in annoyance when her legs gave away and he was forced to support her by having a death grip on her arm and dragging her inside.

Anna raised her head and her breath hitched in her throat and her heart began to beat ten times faster when she saw Santiago standing there next to Raul. He was clad in a white shirt and black slacks. His sleeves were rolled up to his elbows and the top buttons of his shirt were open, showing his toned chest a bit. He looked mighty as ever with his cold piercing eyes watching the scene in front of him.

When Raul was supporting a wicked smirk while looking at her satisfied and smugly, a muscle ticked in Santiago's jaw and he gritted his teeth when his eyes fell on her and took on her appearance.

The man shoved her once again and she fell to her knees in front of her cousin. Right then a gunshot filled the hallway and Anna flinched and buried her head between her thighs, expecting to feel pain.

Her eyes spanned open when she heard a body hitting the ground right behind her and she looked behind her sharply only to see the man who had dragged her in, dead on the ground. Her heart began to beat wildly as she stared wide-eyed at the man's lifeless eyes that were still wide open from shock when blood was oozing out from a hole between his eyes.
