Chapter 33

"This is so suspicious." said Tony and ran a hand through his hair. "In one day we find one of his men spying and he calls us as well."

They all had sat in Mason's office at the base, deciding what to do. 

"But we don't have any other choice other than going." answered Hunter. "If we don't go, our power will be questioned. Everyone will say they were afraid to meet Gomez who was so weaker than them."

"It can be our chance to meet and kill him once and for all." said Ben staring at Mason who nodded.

"We will have your back too." said Alex who had come there with Simon when he had heard the news. "We will cover the area around you as much as we can."

"I don't have so many men with me here." said Torres who was also present. "But I will help West to back you up."

"Thank you both." said Mason. 

"But what about our women?" asked Xander. "It may be Gomez's plan to take us far from them so he can attack the mansion. We don't have so many men here today so we can't send much to protect them."

"Xander is right." said Damien. "So many of our people are at missions or protecting the shipments. We have to take as many as we can tonight. So less will remain to protect our family back home."

"We will send them to the safe house." answered Ben. "We bought it for these days."

"Safe house?" asked Damien.

"It's a secret place I bought after Volkov's attack." answered Mason. "No one knows about it. Only me, Ben, father and Tony, and a few of our most trusted men know where it is. Ben is right. We will send our women there. They will be safe there."

He then turned to Albert and Tony. "I want you two to go there as well." he said.

"Shut it, boy." grumbled Tony. "We are not that old to send us with the women."

"I didn't mean it that way." answered Mason. "I will send only some of my trusted men there. I want you two to be there to protect the women. You are the only ones I can trust. I would have sent some of the boys but I don't think any of them would listen."

"We will go." answered Albert and stood up followed by others. "We don't have so much time. We need to act immediately. The meeting time is in three hours."

"You should leave the mansion in stealth." said Mason and then looked at Albert. "Leave through hidden tunnels under the mansion that will take you to the back of the property. Leave all of your traceable phones in the mansion. Thank heavens that everyone is in the mansion today to talk about the wedding."

"Take care of yourself." said Albert and glanced at all and then turned and left. Tony put a hand on Ben's shoulder and then followed Albert out of the office.

"Okay everyone." said Mason and looked at everyone. "Let's begin. We are running out of time."

"Okay, I will call her myself now." said Ben coldly. "Just keep her there."

He ended the call and quickly called Maria's number. 

"Ben Williams," Maria's angry voice greeted his ear. "Tell your guards to open my way right now. I will come to the base right now."

"No, you won't." answered Ben sternly and ran a hand through his hair.

"Are you kidding me?" she yelled. "That man is my fucking cousin. I want to be there. I want to be there with you."

"And I want to keep my love safe." answered Ben. "And there is no way around it, Mary. You will stay with the girls."
