Xander stood in front of the mirror of his bathroom and stared at his reflection. His eyes were staring back at him brightly and void of any sign of anger. It seemed that the lightness in his heart was shining on his face. He smiled at the sight of the new addition to his tattoos right on his collarbone which he had gotten that day. It was a small name tattooed in curvy handwriting. The name of his love, Anna.

2 days had passed from the gala and life was as great as possible for the new couple. Xander was still so busy with work and would return home late, but he had made sure to be home for dinner in the past two days and they were able to spend more time together and had managed to learn so much about each other, making their bond stronger.

That night, he had returned after midnight and when he had peeked into Anna's room, she was fast asleep with a book in her hand. So with a heavy heart, he had left the room, hoping soon he can sleep with her in his arms.

He got out of the bathroom and jumped as he heard Anna squeal. He turned sharply and saw her sitting on the edge of his bed in her pajamas, covering her eyes with one of her hands. Her cheeks were bright red making him let out a chuckle.

"Sorry!" she squealed, her eyes still covered as he walked to her with a big smile. "I woke up when you left my room and thought to come and see you. I didn't think ... I thought .... oh God this is embarrassing."

She jumped when Xander cupped her cheeks and planted a kiss on her forehead, intensifying her blush. "You can look, love." he chuckled. "I have a towel around me and the rest is nothing you have not seen already."

Anna peeked from between her fingers and removed her hand slowly from her eyes. She couldn't stop her eyes from glancing at his defined abs and toned chest covered by tattoos. "sorry!" she mumbled and gulped while fidgeting on her spot. "Can you wear something?" she asked shyly.

Xander chuckled at her innocence and kissed her lips shortly. "You are so cute. You know this?" he said and walked to his closet. He threw on sweatpants and didn't bother to wear a shirt.

"What is your problem with shirts?" huffed Anna with a cute frown on her face when she saw him walking out of his closet.

"Nothing." answered Xander as he sat on the bed. He put his hands on her waist and she squealed when he pulled her beside him so they were both leaning on the pillows with their legs stretched and one of his arms around her shoulders. He then looked down at her with a mischievous smirk and flexed his muscles a bit. "I just like you look at my hard work with admiration."

He let out a laugh as she gasped and blushed hard. "I didn't stare at you." she pouted and crossed her arms, leaving him no choice but to kiss her lips as he desired all day. He pulled her on his lap as she returned the kiss and it turned deeper.

"I'm all yours, angel." he said once they pulled away. "You can stare all you want."

Anna rolled her eyes, but smiled and put her head on his shoulder and he began to play with her long hair. "Why did you wake up?" he asked after a second. "Did I make a sound?"

"No." she said with closed eyes, enjoying the sensation his hand was creating between her hair. "I was half sleep. My body was just restless. Like it expects something happens."

"Are you better now?" asked Xander softly and kissed the top of her head fondly.

She made a sound between humming and purring and made herself more comfortable on his lap, making him let out a throaty laugh that vibrated his chest and sent shivers down her spine. She lazily put her finger on one of the tattoos on his chest and lightly traced it with the tip of her finger, making him melt under her touch.
