Back at the Wilson household, the remaining teenagers sat around waiting for Luke and Kasper to return with baited breath. The risk the boys had took was real, and the ramifications could be deadly. Brooke's safety was the priority of this whole mission, but knowing what her brother was like, Rosie scared herself to think what would happen if Luke was forced into an impossible situation of saving Brooke or saving himself.

The pros were that Luke had his diamond sword, Adamas.

The cons were alot longer. Kasper didn't have any powers, therefore he could be a hindrance to progress. The boys also had no idea where they were headed, meaning they could be running headfirst into a trap. Then there was the possibility that the girl from the Arena of Blood could reappear for round two.

Ruby had been fiddling with with her hands since the boys had evaporated in a gust of wind. She clearly was wrestling some form of inner torment that she wanted to speak of.

Since the girl from Brooke's reality had come to stay, her life had been very different as she had been forced to adjust and get used to their worlds way of life. For instance, in Brooke's world, things like the Arena of Blood are as common as Football on television. Whereas in Luke and everyone else's world, that type of sport is considered a crime and illegal.

The stark differences between their worlds was so interesting yet terrifying.

"We are going after them right!?" Finally, the heavy silence was shattered by Ruby's soft and also intense sigh.

Rosie pondered for a moment how such an endeavour would even be possible. Meanwhile she heard a fidget of annoyance from Lucille, who was presumably wondering the same thing, yet also being smart enough to know that the option to follow the boys was not achievable.

"W-we already were told not to try following! Besides...we have no way of getting to them.." Ava's soft voice chimed in response to Ruby's earlier question.

She was more vocal than usual, slightly out of character. Rosie remembered that she tended to put other people's needs and wants far above her own and was pretty confident when it came to anyone but herself.

On the other hand, she was right about not having a path towards the boys. If only Brooke had left something behind, something like Luke's sword, perhaps they could've made it through, but they would only end up holding the mission back.

In truth, going there wasn't worth it.

In the corner of Lucille's eye, she noticed a faint glow of light seemingly imprinted on the wall in front of Rosie. The moment she turned to inspect the source closer, it was no longer there. She seriously contemplated getting more sleep like Damien suggested to her on a daily basis.

Rosie jumped to her feet and started towards the kitchen.

Lucille almost gasped, but she kept her composure as the faint glow of light reappeared on the wall. It was a mixture of black and white, it look almost like an energy source of sorts.

After a brief glance around the room, she noticed that it hadn't been just her to notice this anomaly. Ruby and Damien were staring at it with their mouths agape, you could almost see the cogs in Damien's brain turning, he loved all that science and fictional stuff deep down.

Still though, this was unusual and potentially dangerous. What was even the cause of this? Could this perhaps be related to the events that caused the tears in reality? This could even be another opening rift.

"You guys are seeing this...right?" Damien's voice was shaking with...glee?

Ruby could only nod in response, too in shock to speak words and formulate a sentence.

Lucille felt relieved she wasn't seeing things, although lack of sleep could cause hallucinations from time to time.

Rosie had finished her duty in the kitchen and stood still in the doorway, however she wasn't glaring at the wall like everyone else. On the contrary, she was staring at the others.

"Why on earth are you all watching the wall? Our TV's over there you know." She pointed over to the screen.

"You aren't seeing this?!" Damien almost leaped out of his skin.

Rosie gave him a 'Are you okay?' type of stare.

"Rosie, the wall!" Even Ava's voice flooded with shock and wonder as she stared towards the energy with wild eyes.

Rosie looked a little worried for her friends sanity, and considered calling an exorcist. "Yeah, it's a wall....crazy right?"

Damien grabbed her arm and pulled her right in front of the energy emanating from the wall. "See!?"

Rosie just stared blankly ahead, she was now almost scared of their attitudes. Was this all some prank to relieve the stress and worry of waiting for the boys to return? Well she wasn't going to endorse it, she was worried sick about them and didn't find this funny at all.

"Look this isn't funny or clever."

"What? Wait...can you not see it?"

"Ugh! See what!?"

"The black and white energy!"

"For goodness sakes! There's nothing there, I'll prove it!!" Rosie turned on her heel and kicked the wall, but her foot and leg went through the energy source, causing her body to lose balance.

Damien threw out a hand to try and grab her, but he was too late and she fell through completely.

Ruby shot out or her seat with her hands covering her mouth.

"D-Did...where is she!?" Ava sounded hysterical.

"Hello!? Agh, my leg hurts..." Rosie's voice sounded out through the energy, almost like she was on the other side of the wall.

"She's in there!! We have to follow and help!" Ava took no time to debate and ran forward, jumping straight into the energy flow with no care for what risks it presented. She was notorious for only caring about others after all.

Lucille quickly weighed the risks and decided on going to help too. In her mind, she secretly hoped this could lead them towards Brooke and the boys, then they'd have strength in numbers.

Damien noticed Lucille's face of determination and knew he'd follow her no matter what. Both of them nodded at each other while smirking, and followed Ava's movements, disappearing behind the wall.

Ruby stood there now alone, feeling as if she just watched four people commit suicide.

"Are you all mad!? Am I the only sane one here???"

She huffed and wiped the sweat from her face. This was probably her best way of getting home, even if it didn't take them exactly where she wanted. And hearing Rosie's voice a moment ago meant it wouldn't kill them, right?

Throwing caution to the winds, Ruby dashed forward and closed her eyes as the black and white energy licked at her body, it felt warm and cosy, almost like a summer campfire. The sensation ended as soon as it had started, and she opened her eyes tentatively to see herself sprawled on a marble white floor, in a hall of sorts. The walls were stark white and shined like diamonds.

Rosie was sat beside her examining her leg, it looked like she sprained an ankle.

Damien and Lucille were looking around with piqued interest, and Ava was beside Rosie asking if she was okay.

They had no idea where they were, and frankly it didn't look like it was from their world. The air felt different, almost like it was heavy with something.

"Hello? Can I help you?"

The five of them looked up to see a completely nude girl, she had long white hair that was decorated in red roses, and she had a small bruise on her face.

Whoever this girl was, whatever this place was, the five of them now had some form of hope that they could find the boys and help save Brooke, even if it was unlikely.
