Following Damien's compass method, the gang had made alot more progress than before. They'd passed kitchen's, bathrooms, entertainment facilities, and even gyms.

Rosie was strong enough to stand up by herself again. She felt slightly bad about having to lean on Ava and Ruby earlier. She knew Ava wouldn't mind, but she was shocked to see her dimension-crossing emo friend didn't care either and was more worried about her wellbeing.

"How much further?" Kasper whined from the back.

"Shouldn't you be more worried about what we'll find when we get there? We don't even know if Brooke's at the source." Damien replied, saying the last bit rather quietly.

"She has to be. Adamas brought me here for a reason." Luke pressed forwards with Damien, dismissing any doubts that could be present about Brooke's whereabouts.

Lewis had also been following them, still cloaked and invisble to the naked eye. His movements were quick and quiet, his shoes barely making a sound across the gleaming marble floor tiling.

The trap he had laid out was all set and ready. The location of the source was indeed where Brooke was held, but it was also the location of his snare that would catch the gang before they knew what was happening.

Damien looked up, then back at the compass, then up again.

"Guys! Through this door!!" He tried pushing it open, but no luck.

It didn't seem to have a lock, or even a handle.

"Move!"

Damien was pulled out of the way by Lucille, just in time to save him getting his head cut off by Luke, who had summoned Adamas and slashed through the door.

Taking repeated strikes at the door until a hole big enough for them to climb through was created, Luke noticed a weird tingling sensation soar through his body. Perhaps this was the energy source?

Taking one more strike, he stood back and inspected the holes size, and immediately jumped through after realising it was big enough. Kasper and Rosie immediately followed him through, and bringing up the rear was Ava, Lucille, Ruby, and Damien.

Kasper caught up to Luke once inside the room and saw his friend frozen solid. He grabbed his shoulders and shook him gently.

"Luke? Buddy, what's wrong?? Luke!?"

A loud gasp from behind him was heard. He turned and saw the girl all covering their mouths and crying, while Damien looked like he was gonna throw up. What had they all noticed that Kasper hadn't?

Following Luke's gaze, he looked up at the wall in front of them, and his jaw dropped.

Up on the wall was writing, made out of a red substance. It was blood. The writing was hazy and rushed. It read:

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DRAG YOUR FRIENDS INTO THIS CRAZY LITTLE GAME OF OURS

The text made it very obvious as to who's blood that was. It also meant that they had failed to save Brooke in time.

"This could've all been avoided. If you had not stolen our artifact, if you had not let innocent people get involved, if you had not gone against our warning to come back for the girl, then this could've all been avoided. Don't you see? You caused her to die, you caused your friends to get hurt and stuck in this place. You are the villain here, not us."

Dressed in a black suit with combed hair, a much more sophisticated looking Lewis compared to the one from their world, presented himself. His cloaking technology finally turned off, his smug face was alive with malice.
