It's been three months since Richard was home. And for the past two weeks, she noticed something different about Richard's replies. They were becoming more brief, and he also began to call her less having excuses of being too busy....she could feel his emotional withdrawal as well which slowly began to give her concern.
Richard had always been one to tease her a lot.
She would often say "you know Richard I sometimes feel that you thrive on teasing me.... I bet you earn a lot from doing it". And he would always reply saying "you know when ever you are angry or irritated you look cute....so yes I love making you irritated". While stealing a quick peck on her cheek which makes her blush profusely....wondering to herself why those words of his got to her every single time.
So you could imagine her distress when his replies became so formal with very minute emotions attached to his replies...and when she will try to pry and ask what the matter was, he would always say "it's nothing.... just work " so she decided to let it be.
