AFTER MY HONEYMOON

The lights outside were bright....she could see that everywhere or rather, everyone was up and bustling....she could see all the lights from her floor to ceiling window in her apartment.

She had finally moved into her apartment not too long ago...and still trying to adjust to the surrounding and the environment. Although one of the things she really appreciated about the apartment, was the fact that, one could see the whole city from her floor and the floor to the ceiling window was beautifully installed as well . The apartment was built in a very nice location indeed no wonder the lease was quite expensive and since THE STONE BUILDERS were covering it, she didn't have to pay...she just had to choose from a few options. She had heaters installed, and lights fixed as well...overall the week had been stressful, moving in.

She was certainly going to miss the hotel because they had a good ambiance as well... their workers were also very friendly. But aside from moving in, her nerves have been on overdrive for the past two weeks.

And it had been worse for her, since she was once married to Richard.. they had been working on the blueprints which they have finally successfully finished...every single day she stepped into SKY STRUCTURE she literally had to take deep breaths while In the elevator. Each day was like a bridge crossed successfully. The universe was certainly playing games with her for sure.

And she found that she was feeling angry about some certain situations. Richard was easily a very attractive man. From his voice, to his looks and his dressing sense everything was perfect. Sometimes she would look at him and think that she was once his wife even though for a very short time which never failed to bring her sadness.

His secretary, she noticed was being too overly friendly with him and since she was a woman, she could tell when a woman was trying to make a man notice her. And when she would find herself feeling angry or jealous, she would reprimand herself...and telling herself that it was no longer her business since she was no longer his wife.

The one thing that kept playing on her mind were the two questions Nelson asked her during their dinner. Nelson has insisted that they have dinner to celebrate the fact that they had successfully finished the blueprints. She had declined at first but seeing that he insisted, she decided to oblige him.

They arrived at the restaurant, and they were showed to a table by one of the waitress. It was quite a pleasant looking restaurant so she sat on the seat she was ushered to by Richard and thanking him, she sat down and he just smiled at her...she ordered steak...since she felt like eating meat. She was still cutting into her steak when Nelson suddenly asked-

 "Mia are you in a relationship?".

 She immediately stopped cutting and looked at him. She was at a loss for words on what to say.... before she could even open her mouth, Richard quickly asked "Uh... Nelson why don't you order desert". Giving him a pointed look...that wasn't all... she almost spilled the wine on her dress, when he asked once again if she was married and when she looked to him, he just smiled and said " Please don't mind me I'm just pulling your legs...you don't have to answer". At that time, Richard looked like he would kill Nelson with the obvious glare in his eyes and she almost busted out laughing... but quickly swallowing the first thing she could lay her hands on which was water.

 Nelson had stepped out to take a phone call and she was left alone with Richard once again she felt his eyes on her and she absolutely hated the way she felt like her nerves were going to swallow her up. They both spoke at the same time

she gestured to him to go ahead with what he wanted to say and he took up his glass of water and took a sip before clearing his throat a little and said " Um.. about Nelson please do not be offended by his questions.. he can be a bit forward sometimes".
