She had to take deep breaths, before walking in since it was easy to walk in and out of the room, when he was still unconscious but she was also thankful, that Nelson was here since they wouldn't be the only ones in the room.

Both their attentions were turned to her when she entered the room. Nelson was the first person to get up and quickly walked up to her  " Ooh....thanks miss Stewart I will take that".  He said taking the tray from her.

Her eyes met briefly with Richard's before she fully handed the tray to Nelson.

"I added a fever reducer to the soup please make sure he takes all of it I will leave you now I have an appointment to catch". she said still briefly catching Richard's eye and noticed his attention was on her.

"Let me walk you to the door please....you have been a very great help to us today I don't even want to imagine what would have happened if you weren't around". Nelson said setting the tray aside.

Nelson was taking too much  she thought and she was getting very uncomfortable because the whole time, she could still feel Richard's gaze on her so in order to cut the conversation short, she said " There is no need I know my way out...and besides the soup will get cold".  she said gesturing her hand to the soup Nelson had placed on the bed.

But before she stepped out, she suddenly remembered and turned around asking "Ooh and the papers he never got to sign them".

"Don't worry I will personally bring the signed documents to your door step.. we are sorry for the inconvenience". Nelson said smiling.

"No it's fine I was happy to help". she replied softly and left the room then went  downstairs, wore her shoes she had earlier taken off and left the house.

By the time she hailed a taxi and got in, she could almost no longer feel her legs. She felt very exhausted and she didn't know why perhaps it was because of the fact that she was running up and down the stairs.

One would ask why she chose to go through all that for someone who hurt her deeply in the past. But she couldn't answer that question In fact she would rather not even think about it.

While still in the taxi she decided to call her mom....at times where she felt so exhausted and tensed like this, she always called her mom. But bringing out her phone, she saw several missed calls from Mr. wellington and immediately called back.

And on the first ring, the call was picked on the other end.

"Hello Mia". Upon hearing the voice, the uncomfortable feeling she always felt when she was around him, came once again even though she hadn't seen him for at least two years now, she suddenly felt like throwing up....which was very surprising since she hadn't eaten anything all day. But she immediately took deep breaths and said

"Good day Mr. wellington I would like to speak-"

"Come on Mia I've told you so many times to call me Dominic why don't you ever listen".

She closed her eyes and took another deep breathe and calling his name now, she asked to speak to his father of whom he said was currently sleeping at home, since he had been discharged. She was very happy to hear the news and not wanting to continue the conversation with him, she quickly came up with an excuse and cut the call.

Dominic was Mr. wellington's son she had met him at the company's dinner few years back. Mr. wellington had introduced them both to each other and he shook her hand, with a beaming smile that night.

He seemed pretty normal in appearance. His brown hair was always styled to perfection... and his brown eyes weren't so plain either as they had a nice sparkle to them especially when he smiled which he did a little to often and being the CEO's son, so many workers tried to get his attention that night even Mr. wellington's personal secretary but, she wasn't the least bothered. Why? She didn't even know why.

Emily talked a lot about how suave and handsome he was when there were going home after the dinner...but all she wanted to do that night was sleep cause, they has just finished working on a major project and she had many sleepless nights because of it.

She also didn't want to attend the dinner but Mr. Wellington had insisted that she attended which was why she obliged him. He began working in his father's stead for a while because, Mr. wellington's health started deteriorating even back then so he decided to take a rest. She worked on some projects with him but she was always uncomfortable in his presence his stare was the most unnerving. She would always catch him starring at her and back then, she was still suffering from anxiety attacks a lot so on many occasions, his unnerving stare would scare her to the point that she would almost have an attack.

Not only his stare sometimes he would even try to touch her and pretend it was unintentional. Sometimes her hand....one day he even went further to grab her by her waist when she was busy faxing some documents. When he saw her reaction, he quickly played it off by saying that he was only joking and trying to scare her a bit.

After that particular incident, she quickly said she needed to use the restroom...took her pills and willed herself to calm down....his stares started getting dirty and a little more bolder because she could see it in his eyes so she tried, to give themselves limited contact as much as she could which was why when she heard that Mr. wellington had recovered and was coming back she didn't show it but she was the most relieved and while some of the ladies were all sulking over the fact that he was leaving, to handle some other branch. but she on the other hand couldn't care less.

She still had all these thoughts, going through her mind when her phone vibrated in her hands looking down to it, she saw that it was Emily calling so she picked up the call.

"Hi Emily what's up " she said smiling to no one in particular.

"I'm fine and how's London baby girl..have you met the CEO yet? Checked him out on tabloid and saw just one pic but damn girl he is a catch.....don't forget to turn on your charm alright".

"You must be insane Emily...I came here for work not to find a boyfriend or even get into a relationship...I told you that-

"Yes...yes I know you're there for work but seriously if I were in your shoes girl.... I would be in his space twenty four.... seven!!". she said with a squeel that Mia had to briefly remove the phone from her ears for a while.

"Anyway how is work have the construction started yet?".

"Not not yet Emily the papers haven't even been signed yet although wasn't really his fault but I'm hoping that by next week we would be able to start something". She said with a sigh. The happenings of a few hours earlier already giving her a headache.

By the time she got off the phone with Emily, she had already arrived at the hotel so she paid the taxi driver, got off, and decided to call in early since she was so tired but not before ordering for food since she was starving.

Meanwhile,

After Mia walked out of the room, Richard was still looking at the door which she passed through when Nelson's voice brought his attention back to the soup Mia said she made.

"Say..ahhhh". Nelson said smiling with the spoon he was holding in his hand, directed towards Richard's mouth. Richard weakly pushed his hand away and said

"I will feed myself don't worry ". While he was saying that, Nelson's phone rang which drew both their attention. Looking at the screen he smiled and said "Avery's calling I will be right back".

After Nelson left he took the spoon and slowly blew on the soup since it was still a little hot and drank it. He stilled for a moment because he felt like he had eaten food made by these hands before. One could easily tell if a person was a good cook even from the littlest of dish prepared including soup and although this soup felt familiar, he was sure she was a good cook.

Which led his thoughts once again to Mia's direction but he quickly distorted it.....he had just met the woman so what on earth was all this madness.
