"I'm so sorry," Shiloh exclaimed, breaking the silence that lasted for an uncomfortably long time as Shin Maw returned to camp. Nobody enjoys going to tribal council, but it felt especially worse after Shin Maw spent the entire challenge with such a huge lead, believing that they had this in the bag. "I sucked at that challenge."

"You know what I think it was?" Jonah asked. "I noticed that the rope was wrapped around... one side of the log. And they put that side closer to the slingshot, and we put it farther."

"I saw that too," Alex agreed, "but I didn't want to fix it because the rope looked like it started off in the middle."

"Yeah," Jonah said.

Jonah (Shin Maw Tribe): If I want to be really petty here, I would totally blame Alex for losing this challenge. Like, maybe if we just flipped the log around, like I said we should, then the rope would have reached farther.

"Would that have been the difference between us winning or losing?" Victoria asked.

"Well, almost every time we shot the ball, it just went way short," Liam exclaimed.

"Maybe we just really suck at slingshots," Emmanuel laughed. A few others joined him in laughter.

"Well, we all tried our hardest," Shiloh said. "Not much we can do about it now."

Victoria (Shin Maw Tribe): Losing immunity today sucked. We had such a big lead, and then we blew it. And right when this tribe was starting to get paranoid and people were starting to scheme... it just didn't work out today for us at all.

John, Liam, Emmanuel, and Shiloh gathered together in the jungle. "Is the plan still Kalyani?" Emmanuel asked.

"Yeah," John confirmed. "I think we still need to talk to Jonah and Lauren about it, but I'm pretty sure they'll work with us, and that makes six."

"Oh, perfect," Emmanuel said.

Liam (Shin Maw Tribe): The consensus tonight is that Kalyani is going to be the first person voted out of the tribe. She targeted me, and to me, that means she's the biggest threat to my safety in this game. So tonight's vote is self-preservation.

"You sure they're still open to working with us?" John asked.

"Yeah, I don't see why they wouldn't be," Emmanuel exclaimed. "We just have to tell them that Kalyani targeted one of my allies right after trying to become allies with me, and that will probably seal the deal..."

"So Kalyani is voting you tonight, Liam?" Shiloh asked.

"Yeah," Liam said. "And probably Alex, Brianna, and Victoria, too."

"What if Kalyani has an immunity idol?" John asked.

"I don't even want to think about that right now," Emmanuel exclaimed.

Shiloh (Shin Maw Tribe): It's so weird! I just have to stand there and nod my head and agree with them, but in reality, I don't agree with any of their plans. I'm not working with these boys, and tonight, I am going to try and blindside Emmanuel. I didn't expect to lie and do all that when I first came out here, but I guess you just can't help yourself sometimes.

-

"Are you guys, like, still up in the air at all? Or..." Emmanuel asked. Himself, Jonah, and Lauren were walking down a path somewhere else in the jungle, where nobody else could see or hear them.

"I mean, yeah, I'm kind of undecided right now," Lauren admitted.

"Same here," Jonah added.

"Well, our plan is to take out Kalyani tonight," Emmanuel explained, "because I felt like it was really suspicious that Kalyani would try to be my ally, then target someone she knows is working with me: Liam."
