The realm of possibilities suddenly widened. Why did this creature want to get in? Was it trying to warn the others? Or maybe it was All for One's plan B, a strange being capable of wiping any bits of evidence for Y/N to work off of.

Either way, it was more than capable of handling the two strikes, so Y/N was sure to put a little more force in the next few.

Laying a relaxed palm out to guard with one just over his shoulder to attack, he focused, taking account of the monster, droning workers, and everyday civilians not even a hundred meters away.

Bending its knees, it shot forward, intending to barrel through Y/N and maybe even the armored hatch itself.

When in arm's reach, Y/N sidestepped, and with his guarding hand pushed the creature aside by the neck before landing a near-fatal blow to its spinal column.

The sound resonating from its lower back was cringe-worthy, and Rachel honestly had a hard time watching when all control of its lower body suddenly cut.

The bundle of nerves Y/N struck left it helpless on the floor, however, not for long.

With its upper body, it began clawing its way to the hatch, and with the power in its arms, it may as well have been running.

Grabbing it by its ankle, Y/N twisted his torso and threw it straight out of the building, where it came to a rolling stop in the loading bay.

Y/N was on the creature in an instant. Appearing above it, he came down like a missile to land a kick to its chest.

The attack was powerful enough to crack the asphalt underneath, as well as caving in its sternum, bringing forth strangled gasps for air.

The creature was tireless in its goal, as the moment the nerves in its back healed, it rolled over and sprinted for the hatch at a surprising speed.

Appearing in front of it, Y/N threw his leg out, catching its jaw with the tip of his boot and snapping its neck straight in half.

Watching the monster slam into the ground like a rag doll, Y/N remained rooted, waiting to see if it had enough.

"Is it dead?" Rachel asked in a shuddery gasp.

"It shouldn't be," Y/N murmured. "The injuries should be treatable."

Hearing a wet pop coming from the downed creature, Y/N saw it rise once more. Its neck straightened and its labored breaths calming with each passing second. Then suddenly, it did the same thing, dropping to all fours and charging back into the factory.

It's persistent.

Zipping forward, he snatched its outstretched wrist, nearly halting it in its entirety. However, before he could capitalize on the moment, the sutures on the monster's face came undone, opening its massive maw that wrapped around its elbow, ripping it clean off.

Dropping the limb with a sigh, Y/N frowned, pushed over the edge of leniency when the creature made a beeline for a passing worker.

Taking a deep breath, he exuded a massive amount of energy before suddenly siphoning it all back in. The large leap in power made the surrounding world slow to a crawl.

Blasting forward, he positioned himself right beside it. And twirling in the opposite direction, he built up a devastating amount of momentum he released from his boot.

The roundhouse kick almost chopped the monster straight in half, and if it impacted with the ground, Y/N was sure the flesh and muscle holding it together would explode.

But as he maintained his monstrous power, he sped to the floor and lowered his frame into a readied stance.

Calmly exhaling, he burst forward, catching the monster's jaw with a rising knee.
