From Bounty to Hunter (Story 1 - Chapter 1)

With Venno: 

The Velociraptor slowly woke up, having gone to bed early the night before, so it was pretty early in the morning. 

Sitting up and letting out a quick yawn, the Velociraptor glanced down at the Anglerfish still sleeping beside her. 

Dexx Angle, the father of their unborn child, had given up on being a thief and therefore cleared his bounty for good by returning everything he had taken from the majority of his hideouts. 

Venno smiled at the thought of Dexx only having his Terronto hideout to clear out, which goes to show how dedicated and committed Dexx was to turning around and using his skills for good. 

And that good is for being a Bounty Hunter. 

Venno chuckled lightly before leaning forward and giving Dexx a hug, the Anglerfish stirring slightly from the sudden warmth of Venno’s body. 

“Isn’t it too early to be awake?” muttered Dexx, the Anglerfish smiling as he opened one eye and glanced up at her. 

“It is, but it’s never too early for love” said Venno, the Velociraptor whispering into Dexx’s ear, causing it to twitch slightly. 

Dexx chuckled as he rolled over, the Anglerfish sitting up and wrapping an arm around Venno’s shoulder while his other hand rested on her stomach. 

“If only we could, but you’re pregnant. Our love is what made our baby” said Dexx, the Anglerfish smiling gently as he pulled Venno closer. 

Venno chuckled, the Velociraptor blushing brightly. 

“Well, in that case, we should be getting ready to head to the Bounty Hunter Agency. Like Jerry once said, bounties who are still wanted won’t be caught without Bounty Hunters, and you’ll be starting as one today” said Venno, the Velociraptor giving Dexx a quick kiss on the lips before getting out of bed to get ready. 

Dexx couldn’t help but chuckle as he blushed brightly, the Anglerfish lovestruck with Venno, but he quickly shook his head and got out of bed to get ready as well. 

Time Skip: 

Both Venno and Dexx left their apartment, the two having gotten ready in just under an hour. 

Venno was wearing a simple black dress that went down to her thighs, the dress fitting her form nicely but still had a little stretch to it considering her pregnancy was showing a little. She was also wearing a dark red suit jacket that was unbuttoned, the sleeves rolled up to her elbows, and a pair of lightly ripped burgundy foot covers. 

Venno was the new CEO and owner of the Bounty Hunter Agency for a few weeks now, so she had opted to wear something more comfortable. She still had her uniform up on display in her office, but she was able to take it out of the case and wear it if she ever needed it. 

Dexx, on the other hand, was wearing his normal pair of black jeans, black T shirt, and his usual black leather aviator jacket with the fur around the collar. 

Venno could only assume that Dexx was going to wear this as his Bounty Hunter uniform, especially since the Anglerfish looked good in it. 

As Venno and Dexx both walked over to the elevator, Venno suddenly halted when she spotted a familiar older Spider sitting in his wheelchair smoking a cigarette. His hair was a little disheveled, along with his fur, and he was only wearing a white suit shirt with the sleeves rolled up, his usual pair of grayish blue jeans, and he only had one boot on considering his other leg was wrapped up in a tight cast. 

“Hey Jerry. How’s everything going so far? You’re doing alright?” asked Venno, the Velociraptor walking over to see how Jerry was doing. 

The older Spider hummed in response as he took a slow puff from his cigarette, before he sighed.
