With Fiona:

The pomeranian demoness slowly woke up, having passed out after being blindsided by that van, allowing the Thorny Vine demon to get away.

Fiona sat up, rubbing her head in pain as she glanced around.

She, and the rest of the team, were all checked into one large hotel room from what she can tell. After having passed out, they must have laid her down in the bedroom before getting to work.

Hearing voices coming from the next room over, Fiona decided to get up and see how everyone else was doing, hoping there had been progress made in locating Barry.

Fiona opened the door and stood at the doorway for a few minutes, taking in everything that was going on.

Venno and Dexx were standing at the table, the two of them talking to the leader of the Field Team while pointing at something on a large map of the city.

The other four were just lounging around, one of them even rummaging through the small fridge, looking for something to drink.

Scott was sprawled out on the sofa, his laptop open and on his lap and his tablet in hand. The Possum demon looked so focused and serious on what he was working on that he didn’t even take his eyes off of either his laptop or tablet, switching between the two.

Fiona couldn’t help but see how out of character Scott was, the Possum demon’s eyes hidden behind his shades while he still wore his baseball cap and hood despite being indoors.

If Scott was looking this serious about what was going on, then it must be pretty serious.

Quickly shaking her head and regaining herself, Fiona decided to make her presence known, the Pomeranian demoness walking over to where Venno and Dexx were still talking to the Field Team leader.

“Hey guys, I’m sorry about what happened earlier” said Fiona timidly, the Pomeranian demoness looking down at the ground as she clutched her hands tightly together.

Everyone in the room was initially startled by Fiona’s sudden appearance, indicating they were so distracted to the point where they didn’t even hear her walk out of the bedroom.

Venno quickly shook her head and regained herself, the Velociraptor demoness sighing.

“Fiona, that was out of character for you. What you did was reckless, and now we don’t even have the element of surprise anymore. Those Plant demons know we’re here, and that we’re looking for them. They didn’t contact me through Barry’s walkie talkie, yet, but I’m afraid of what they might do to your boyfriend if we don’t hurry up and find their hideout. There are so many plant shops in this city that there are at least one or two on almost every street” explained Venno, the Velociraptor demoness glaring down at the map she, Dexx and the Field Team leader were looking at.

“I can’t be that out of character than Scott is right now. He looks so serious that he didn’t even say a single word when I walked over” exclaimed Fiona, the Pomeranian demoness having no idea why she’s trying to defend what she did.

Scott didn’t seem to even react when she said this, the Possum demon turning his attention down to his tablet before quickly returning his attention back to his laptop.

She knew that it was her fault for making their presence known to the Thorny Vine demon. He probably would have walked right by them without knowing who they were if she hadn’t tried chasing after him.

And now they could be doing anything to hurt Barry right now, and she knew it was her fault for causing her boyfriend that pain.

Dexx sighed, the Anglerfish demon crossing his arms as the Field Team leader walked over to where one of his men was rummaging around the small fridge, having snatched the bottle of wine he was holding triumphantly.
