With Jerry:

The Spider demon couldn’t remember anything that had happened in the last hour or two, or however long the surgery was taking anyway.

At the moment, he was unconscious due to the anesthetic that they had given him, the thing knocking him out the second they put the mask over his mouth.

He had no way of knowing if the operation was going well, had already succeeded, or if there was something terrible going on that he was unaware of since he couldn’t feel any pain.

For all he knew, he could be dead because of some sort of accidental mishap while they were trying to cut off his permanently broken leg.

Dr.Elizabeth had explained to him before starting the operation that in order for her to remove the broken leg, she would have to remove it from just the knee down, meaning he would still have a comfortable control over his leg without having to walk with too much of a limp.

Jerry could only hope that everything was going according to plan, and nothing bad had happened during the operation.

This new spark of hope that his old employees gave him really touched his heart, and he didn’t want to pass up the opportunity to walk and run again, to actually do all the things he used to before the leg injury.

While the only thing Jerry could see at the moment was darkness, still unconscious from the anesthetic, there was only one thing that broke through the silence of his thoughts, something he never thought he would hear again.

“Jerry” called a familiar, feminine, distant voice.

It was a voice which Jerry hadn’t heard in many years.

Glancing around the darkness, Jerry was unable to pinpoint where the voice was coming from, causing the Spider demon to feel both panic and excitement.

“Jerry, I’m over here” called the voice once again, only this time it was more clear sounding.

And coming from directly behind him.

Whirling around, Jerry gasped in shock when he saw the one denizen he never thought he would ever see again.

His wife.

“Janette, is that really you, or is it just the anesthetic conjuring up an image of you for some reason?” asked Jerry in shock at first, but then he said the last part bluntly since he had no way of knowing if his wife’s spirit was really visiting him in this dire situation.

Janette giggled lightly, the Angelic looking Spider demoness not looking offended by what her husband had said, having been used to his blunt rudeness at times.

“No, it’s really me, Jerry. I must say, you’ve really changed since I passed. I’m really happy to see that you were able to continue on without me. You’re a lot stronger than you appear to be, even as you age” said Janette in her teasing British accent, one of the things that Jerry had fallen in love with about her.

Getting a good look at her, Jerry was able to see that she had barely aged since her passing.

She appeared to be of a similar Spider species as Arachnè, only she had a lighter gray colored skin tone as the Black Widow demoness.

She currently had four arms, her third pair most likely hidden and only came out when she got angered. Her usually long, dark blue hair was tied up in a loose bun, her thick bangs long and flowy and covering her eyes.

She was wearing a long white off the shoulder dress with a bit of a flared skirt that went down to her ankles. On her feet, she had a pair of sharply gold heeled boots, a pair of gold bangles on all her arms.
