Honeymoon (Story 8 - Chapter 2)

With Venno:

The Velociraptor demoness was giving her daughter one last hug and kiss goodbye, unprepared to leave her while she and Dexx are about to board the cruise ship and head out on their honeymoon.

Queen Pin and Thorn had to get back to Hellis, the Voodoo Doll demoness needing to go back to the fashion forward city in order to catch up on the upcoming fashion show that was going to take place in the next week.

Although, Queen Pin wouldn't really be calling it 'catching up' since she was one of the fastest seamstresses in the company, especially with her ability to levitate things.

It was just Slendithera, Rad and Jerry who were there to see them off, the Spider demon deciding it would be best to go along, too, just to ensure they got to the docks safely and on time.

And for the two siblings to get back to the casino safely and on time with Elvira after seeing Venno and Dexx off.

"Come on, Venno, you've kissed and hugged Elvira goodbye at least ten times, and that was only from the time we got here. You wouldn't even let her out of your arms since you woke up" said Slendithera, the Porcelain Monster demoness frowning slightly as she tried to gently raise her arms to take the young Velociraptor Angler demoness from her older sister.

Venno snarled, the Velociraptor demoness giving her own sister a rare paralyzing glare, causing Slendithera to freeze up in fear for a split second before quickly shaking her head and regaining herself again.

Venno sighed, the Velociraptor demoness calming down once she felt Dexx's hand on her shoulder.

"Sorry about that, I just don't like the idea of leaving her for an entire week while Dexx and I are having a fun time on our honeymoon. I won't be able to get the thought out of my head" admitted Venno, the Velociraptor demoness looking down at her daughter and smiling.

Jerry chuckled, causing Venno to look up at him startled.

"Oh come on, Rapter, you and Angle should enjoy your honeymoon while you can. You've both worked hard for this, and you deserve some alone time without any kids while you still can" said Jerry, the Spider demon quickly taking a puff from his cigar before snickering.

"Not to mention, your daughter might find it relaxing not having the two of you hovering around her for an entire week" said Jerry jokingly, the Spider demon giving them a snide remark.

Both Venno and Dexx were in shock when they heard this, the two both growling and glaring in anger at the Spider demon while Elvira giggled and clapped her hands.

"Hey, we don't hover around her twenty four seven. And even if we did, it's because we want to make sure she's got everything she needs" exclaimed Venno.

Dexx nodded in agreement, the Anglerfish demon crossing his arms.

"Yeah, and once she's old enough, we'll back off a little at a time so that we can give her space to grow into the young woman that she wants to be without influencing her own decisions too much, only enough to ensure she gets on the right track for whatever she wants to be" defended Dexx.

Jerry could only burst out laughing, the Spider demon seeming to wipe away a nonexistent tear, causing the two to look shocked.

"Jeez, I was only joking, you two. You should always know how sarcastic and derogatory my remarks can get when I'm joking. Lighten up and go already, your ship looks like it's just about to leave anyway" said Jerry, the Spider demon crushing his finished cigar in his hand before tossing it in the nearby garbage can before swiftly lighting a cigarette.
