I wanted to shout out to everyone what really had taken place that night but I was bound because Alpha Raymond, Luna Bianca's mate, forced me not to say a word about the punishment he gave.

"I'm sorry," I chocked out, my throat feeling constricted. "I can't answer the question."

Everyone's attention turned towards me and I felt even more uncomfortable. Alarm bells rang in my head, telling me to turn back or run away. I wanted so badly to claw at my throat, to force the unseen hand off my neck, but my hands remained stiffly by the sides of the chair.

With narrowed eyes, Miss Carol questioned, "What do you mean by that?"

"I," I said, pausing to catch my breath, "can't tell you."

I gripped the edge of the chair I was seated on and tried not to make any eye contact with many pairs of curious eyes that had somehow landed on me. Inside my mind, the events of that night replayed over and over again along with the instructions that I shouldn't say anything about it.

"Would you like to write it out then?" Miss Carol suggested, extending her marker towards me.

I hurriedly shook my head. If I knew where to go, I would've ran out of the enclosing room right away but alas, I was but an ant in a cornfield with no way out. With the way I found it hard to breathe and the heavy force pressing down at my chest, I knew it was my claustrophobia kicking up.

"No," I said sounding extremely breathless and ignored the worried looks from Sariah. "Could you please, like um, change the topic?"

"Excalibur," Miss Carol said in a serious tone, setting her marker down, "do you know this story personally?"

Say no. "Yes, please don't ask anymore."

The pressure around my chest increased and I struggled to keep my line of sight clear. "Are you alright?" I heard Miss Carol asked faintly and tried to answer her, tried to tell her I was fine, but nothing came out.

Then, everything blurred and the only sound I could hear was the sound of my heartbeat slowing down. And well, my conscience telling me over and over again to back away from the subject. Tired and dizzy, I shut my eyes to cease catching every small movement.

Concentrating on my breathing, repeatedly telling myself to inhale and exhale, I felt the weight on my chest being lifted slowly and air filling my lungs with each consistent breath. The tension in my head decreased too as the images of the night slowly begun to disappear.

As if on luck, the bell rang and I shot out of my seat, not caring to find my footing, and wobbly made my way down the corridor in the direction of the cafeteria.
