Chapter 8

Y/Ns POV

I wake up to someone petting my hair. I open my eyes and see Bonnie looking at me. I blush at the fact he was awake for God knows how long petting me and watching me sleep. "O-Oh uh- sorry I didn't mean to wake you." He stutters out but I just smile. "It's alright Bon, thanks for taking care of me." He smiles back "It's the least I can do for you always taking care of me." "Well your my friend of course I want to take care of you." Bonnie mumbled something under his breath. "What was that?" "N-nothing nothing! How's your arm feeling today?" He asks changing the subject. "It's actually feeling a little better today, I think I can try moving it a bit out of this sling." I say sitting up taking the sling off my neck and arm. "That's good, maybe tomorrow I can have my bestie back fully functional." He says as he chuckles. "Aww did you miss me that much cotton tail?" I say teasingly and giggling. "Hmm maybe, it's so boring and lonely there without you." He explains "Well don't worry I'll be there with you again today and when my arm is better we can get back to bowling every night before I leave." He perks up at this "Finally! I know I always win but I miss our little games haha" I laugh along.

My wound is starting to scar up and by tomorrow I think I'll be able to take my stitches out. Bonnie reaches over and gently looks at my arm. "Looks like it's healing well, that's good." I nod and get out of bed going to shower in his bathroom.

After getting ready we walk to the bowling alley holding hands, I look down and smile but I noticed his other hand is a little crooked. "Bonnie, what happened to your hand?" I ask, he looks at his crooked hand and laughs nervously. "Uhh I umm messed it up while bowling yesterday. I didn't want you to use your arm to help me fix it so I asked Freddy to but I guess he put it back on a little crooked, huh." He chuckles and I sigh. "Bonnie I don't care if I'm injured, if you need me to fix something I'm more than capable of doing it." I say with a little concern and a bit of annoyance. "I know I just wanted you to rest though, I even had to let Freddy carry you to bed so I wouldn't drop you." He explains. 'Oh so it was Freddy who put me to bed last night.' I thought for a moment but laughed. "It's fine, let's just get that fixed. Your always breaking. I'm starting to think you do it sometimes just to spend time with me." We both laugh "Maybe I am, who knows?" He says with a little smirk. "Well you don't have to hurt yourself just to get my time and attention ya dumb bunny." I giggle and he looks at me with an offended face. "How dare you, im not a dumb bunny!" He says fake pouting and crossing his arms. "Haha whatever ya say, just get on the table so I can fix your hand."

We get to the bowling alley and I see Freddy waiting at the bar. "Hey Freddy, what's up?" I greet. "Goodmorning friends! I just came to see how you both are doing." He says with a smile. "Aww thanks Fred, I'm doing good! I can finally move my arm around a bit without it hurting." I say moving my arm to show. "That's great, I'm happy to hear your healing well, little one!" He says patting my head and I nod. "Sense your feeling a bit better, do you mind if you do me a favor?" "Sure, what is it?" He handed me a few notes with everyone's names on them. "Can you run these over to everyone for me?" I take them from him and smile "Of course, I would love to!" He smiles back at me "Thank you so much y/n!" "Just be back quick I don't want you getting hurt when people are flooding in." Bonnie says squeezing my hand a little bit, I forgot we were holding hands for a second but I squeezed back and smile. "Will do!" And I was off.

Freddy's POV

After y/n ran off I couldn't help but snicker. Bonnie looked at me confused. "What're you laughing at?" He asks and I sit back down at a stool. "The way your so concerned for her is very cute. Have you made a move on her yet?" I ask and he looks down "Not exactly. I don't really know what to do." I smile at his confession. "How about starting with asking her on a date?" I suggest and he looks at me. "Do you think she'll say yes? I mean we're close friends and I like what we have, I don't want to ruin that." I get up and pat his back. "It's worth a shot and I have a feeling she'll say yes. Just go for it." I encourage and he nods. "Alright I'll try." I hug him. "That's the spirit! I'll see you later though, the place is about to open." I say waving and walking away. He waves back and goes to his little stage. 'Hopefully we can come up with a plan...'
