Chapter 24

Y/Ns POV

I stretch and yawn, blinking my eyes to wake up. I look next to me and Bonnie's there with his arm across me. He's so sweet, I didn't even know he moved me to the bed. Maybe he got uncomfortable on the couch or something.

I get up and grab a spare uniform from his closet and change in the bathroom, fixing myself up and stuff. Lastly I put the bunny ear headband on and walk out to wake Bonnie up. "Bon Bon~" He shifts so he's on his back. He waves his hand in the air then slaps it back down going back to sleep. "The heck was that weirdo?" I ask but get no response. I groan and back up.

Once I'm a good distance in the corner I run and jump on top of him. "OOF" He let's out a breathless grunt. "Hehe morning." I smile at him and I lay my hands on his chest then put my chin on top of them. "What a lovely way to wake up." He says sarcastically. "I know right! I knew you would love that." I shoot the sarcasm right back and get off him. "Next time im leaving you on the couch and locking the bedroom door." He says chuckling, getting up. I sit down on his bed facing away from him so he can change. "Psshh! Go ahead, I'll find a way in one way or another." I heard him laugh. "True, can't risk waking up to getting smothered with a pillow once you break in through the vents or something." We both laugh. "Exactly! Thats why you should wake up as soon as I say your name." He sits next me. "I don't even know how you wake up this early." I stare at the ground like I'm watching a war flashback. "Once you have to get up every single day for college classes this early, it becomes apart of you for life." He pats my back. "So glad I can't go to school." I laugh and look at him. "I used to be like you though. Sleep in and not care all throughout highschool until college came."  "Sheesh. School did a number on you, huh?" He questions and I nod. "You have no idea." We chuckle and I stand up. "Okay let's get going." He nods and grabs my hand. Walking out of the room.

As we pass everyone else's doors we wave and say goodmorning until we pass Montys door. "Hey doll, why don't you come monitor my golf course today." It was more of a statement instead of a question. I look at Bonnie who's already glaring at Monty. "I ummm don't know if I'm allowed to leave my post like that Mont." I respond and Monty waves his hand. "Sure ya can! Either way you have to cause I have control, now let's go!" Monty says grabbing my other hand and pulling me away from Bonnie. "Uh- bye Bon...I guess." I say with a little frown, waving back at the frustrated bunny.

We arrive at Montys golf course, walking in. "You gotta stop that or next time Bonnie's gonna kick your snout in." Monty laughs. "You got a point but his reaction is so fun. Me and him are friends, I don't know why he thinks I'll take you away from him." He admits. "Yeah I know but he's a little obsessive or more...possessive." I say and he looks down at me. "Eh it's a normal reaction to someone you like. For example, you would get a bit mad if other girls starting hitting on him. Speaking of which why don't you just tell him already?" I sigh and look away. "I-i don't know...It's just hard and I haven't found the right moment...." I explain. "Right moment? Girl you've had so many moments to tell him!" I look at him with a 'seriously' look. "But they were all ruined by you guys." He takes a sharp breath in through his teeth. "Okay fair point." I huff. "Well anyways what am I supposed to do here?" I ask looking around. "Well sense your a bartender for Bon, you can work the snack bar it's similar enough." He suggests pointing to gator grub. "Doesn't someone already have a post there?" I ask and he shakes his head. "Nope. Your the only human employee that works a stand like that. Others are ran by bots, while other humans work prize counters or cook in the kitchen beside bots." I hum along. "I don't know, maybe I'll try something else. Working the same thing gets a little boring after a while. Don't get me wrong though! Making drinks is fun and all but it's the same routine." Monty hums in understanding. "Well then you can just hang around with me. But first..." he looks me up and down and points at my outfit. "We need to get rid of that. Come on." He grabs my arm and brings me to the gift shop. He grabbed an employee of Monty golf t-shirt that he found in the back. "Wear this instead. Aaaaand...we take these off." Monty said handing me the shirt and taking off my headband of bunny ears. I giggle, shake my head and go find a bathroom to change in.
