Imee knows her sister, she knows that she's hurt, she's longing, she's unhappy, there is still a missing piece. Irene finished the song, she looks at all of them and flash a smile, a genuine-bitter smile to be exact.
Borgy rubs Irene's back and kissed her forehead, Irene smile at him. They really knew how painful it is for Irene to not see her daughter for almost 4 years then when she went home for her, she still didn't able to see her.
"Hanggang kailan ka dito, ading?" Imee asks to break the silence.
"Uuwi narin ako next week, manang. May trabaho ako dun e." Irene replies as she smile.
"Smile kahit masakit" Imee thinks.
"Sabagay, uuwi ka naman dito diba?" Imee asks seriously.
"Oo naman, manang.." Irene answered softly.
"Sa recognition ng anak mo? Uuwi ka ha!" Imee tolds her sister.
"I'll try, manang." Irene said, Bongbong looks at her.
"Hindi pwedeng try, dapat gawin ha." Bongbong said, "Isama mo si Luis at Alfonso, tsaka yung apo ko sakanila. Pambihira apo, lola na ako!" Imee exclaimed.
Irene laughs, "May tanong pala ako sayo ading!" Imee suddenly said.
Irene looks at her as if asking what, "Who's that Janella Ivory, I once saw in twitter? You two were trending, anak mo daw." Imee confronts.
Irene fell silent, "A-ah yes ate, she's my daughter. My adopted-" she wasn't able to finish her words when Imee cuts her.
"Kaya ba hindi mo magawang balikan dito yung tunay mong anak?" Imee asks her emphasizing the word tunay mong anak.
Agad namang umiling si Irene, "No! Of course not, manang. Hinding-hindi mapapalitan si Kate sa puso ko, I love her, too much. I am willingly want to suffer my life for her, I am willing to die for her.." she paused, "Kahit kailan, hindi ko minahal si Janella kagaya ng pagmamahal ko sa anak ko.. Even though so, she's with me always, hindi niya mapapalitan yung posisyon ni Kate sa puso ko." she confess whispering as tears started to stream down to her cheeks.
