Broken Promises

SC: Family Vacation

The Aranetas decided to have their vacation, they deserve this after all that happened to their family. Irene and Kate had been more close with each other, Irene is making it up to her and Kate is letting her mom do such.

"Is it out of the country ba or here lang sa Philippines?" Kate asked her parents, Irene also looked at her husband waiting for his answers.

"France? Paris, France.." Greggy suggested, Kate's eyes sparkles, it's her most favorite place!

"Oh my gosh, good choice daddy!" Kate exclaimed, Irene caressed her daughter's hand and kissed the back of it.

"I know you'll love it! Inform your kuyas okay.." Greggy ordered his daughter as he looked at his wife, "And sweetheart, you can also invite Janella to come with us." Greggy told Irene softly.

"Yes ma, she's a family naman na.." Kate agrees, Irene's heart melted, she's so happy to know that both of her daughters are getting along already.

"I'll try to invite her hun, gabi pa ngayon doon.." Irene replied, Greggy just nod at her.

They're now getting ready, all of their luggages are already inside their car, they're just waiting for Luis and his family to arrive then they're ready to go. Irene also invited Janella but she refuses to join them, she's really busy with her studies right now.

"Mommy..Daddy..Kuya..nandito na po sila kuya Luis!" Kate shouted, Irene and Greggy were still on their room getting their selves ready, Kate is already done and she was just waiting for them in the living room while scrolling through her phone.

"Hello, babies!" Kate greeted her nephews and niece with a kiss and a gentle hug. She also greeted her brother and Xandra with a cheek kiss.

Alfonso and Luis exchanged fist bump, meanwhile, Irene and Greggy gave them cheek kiss and forehead kisses for the kids.

"Let's go, baka malate na tayo sa flight.." Greggy told them, the family agrees and head their way outside. They'll be using a van today since they won't fit in the car.

"Love, did you ready your scarf, sweater and other necessities you'll need during the flight?" Irene asked her daughter softly, Kate nodded and smile at her.

"Yes ma, ready na po. It's all in my hand bag." Kate assures her, Irene respond a nod as she kissed her temple.

When they arrived, they were accompanied by the guards towards their aircraft. They'll be in a first class type of room because it will be a long flight for them, 15-16 hours.

"Do you want to eat something, 'nak? You didn't eat breakfast.." Irene worriedly asked her daughter, Kate looked at her and take off her airpods, it wasn't that loud so she was able to hear what her mother said.

"No ma, I'm okay po.." Kate replied, she caressed her mother's hands to reassure her.

"How about you there Luis? Kumain ba kayo ng breakfast, yung mga apo ko.. Hindi ba gutom?" Irene asked looking at Luis, her son gaze at her and shook his head.

"No, they're okay mom. And yes we eat breakfast before going sa house." Luis answers, Irene nodded and glance to her panganay and Andy and found them in a deep slumber. She's now a hands-on mother to all of them especially to her princess who have been away from her for almost 4 years.
