Alternate Ending

A Year has passed, Kate's graduation had just been finished and they're now heading to a fancy restaurant rented by Greggy for the whole day so they could have a certain privacy for the family.

Irene wasn't able to attend her graduation because she's in America taking her treatment to fight her disease, Kate felt sad but she do understand that her mother needs to be treated.

"Congratulations Attorney!"

They all shouted as soon as Kate entered the restaurant, all of her love ones were there.

"Congratulations to our Attorney!" Imee exclaimed, she walk towards Kate and hugs her.

"Thank you mama.." Kate replied, she kissed her cheeks and smile genuinely.

"Congrats apo ko!" Imelda greeted Kate joyously, the young lady hugged her grandmother.

"Thank you mamita.."

"Am I that late?"

Kate's eyes widened, she knows who's voice was it, she immediately turned around and saw the most important woman of her life, she didn't waste any of her time as she abruptly hug the woman, her mother.

"Mommy, you're here!" Kate joyfully exclaimed, she's now crying on her mother's shoulder.

Irene rubbed her back, they're both crying, they both missed each other, 2 years is long.

"I'm sorry if I'm late, attorney.." Irene whispered, Kate smile at her as she tightens the hug.

"It's okay, I'm just glad that you're here na with me.. I missed you so much ma!" Kate uttered, Irene kissed her forehead.

"I missed you more, princess. Baka this time, pwede mo na akong samahan doon?" Irene asked softly, Kate nodded repeatedly.

"Of course, sure ma. I would love to take care of you." Kate said excitedly, Irene wiped her daughter's tears as she smile genuinely.

Greggy and Irene also went back in each others arms that made the family surprise and cheer in so much joy. They're celebrating three blessed events in Marcos' & Aranetas family.

Greggy hold Irene's waist as he kissed her forehead, "Welcome back, sweetheart.." he whispered.

"It's glad to be back home.." Irene replied, she smile at him and leaned her head on Greggy's shoulders.

"Oh come on, mamaya na po yung moments niyo kakain na!" Luis ranted jokingly, the others laugh, the couple smile at their son and followed.

Kate is sitting in between of Imee and Irene, her heart is so full right now and this is the best graduation gift for her.

"Are we late?"

Someone uttered while they were eating, the family looked at the direction where the voice was coming from and in their surprise it was Greggy's parents, Luis and Emma.

"Abuela, Abuelo!" Kate exclaimed as she rushed to their direction and give them a tight hug.

"Hello apo, congratulations hija.." Luis greeted, he kissed her forehead and hugs her.

"Congratulations to our new lawyer in the family!" Emma joyously remarked,  Kate smile at her as she hug her.

"Thank you po, I'm glad that you were able to come! You two are just in time, we're just starting to eat po.." Kate informed her grandparents, the oldies nodded as they followed her.
