Kate and the other Marcoses went back to Manila already to attend their individual agenda as the week starts again.

Kate Alliana

Nang nakarating kami, I went to my room directly to sleep--sana.. but, I saw how messy it was.

"Great.."

Buti nalang hindi pumunta si tita Imee dito, anyway, binalik ko lang lahat ng gamit ko and also separated my dirty clothes as tita Imee instructed me to do so since it will be picked up by our house helper later.

As much as I want to rest and continue my sleep, hindi ko pwedeng pabayaan ang mga naiwang kalat dito sa kwarto ko. It was not that messy though, it was just disarranged.

"Finally!" nakapameywang kong sabi, I was just on time because someone knocked on the door.

"Kate.."

"Hmm?.." Agad kong sagot.

"Hello, what are you doing?.. Why are you covered with sweats? Ano ba ang ginawa mo, bata ka! Go, go, change. Matutuyuan ka ng pawis at baka magkasakit ka pa." sabi niya sakin, she even accompanied me papunta sa closet ko.

"I just cpeaned my room, there were few scattered pieces na naiwan ko after I left for Ilocos.."

"Hmm, okay. I will prepare snack for you, pumunta ka nalang sa baba kapag tapos kana."

"I will. Thanks, tita!"

I heard the door closed, nagpatuloy akong magbihis--just comfortable clother, my favorite.

Nung nakarating ako sa baba, I saw tita Imee working and proofreading some of her files, senate papers. Kailangan niya munang i-proofread lahat before signing because of course, reputasyon niya ang nakasasalalay diyan.

"Working again?" tanong ko.

"Yeah. These are papers that I need to sign kasi ipapasa ko sa tito Bonget mo tomorrow.." sabi niya, she didn't even glanced at me.

It's so funny to think that nauutusan na siya ni tito Bonget, knowing that she's the manang. Although, being a senator is non-negotiable.

"Do you want me to help you? I can copy your signature.."

I know it's illegal, it just so many kasi and kawawa naman yung tita ko.

"That's illegal but I won't say no," sabi niya which made me laugh, Imee Marcos nga naman.

Irene

The sun hasn't risen yet nung nagising ako, I will just stay here sa bahay because I don't have scheduled errand for today. But as a mom, bumangon na ako at bumaba to cook breakfast for my kids.

Ayoko din namang iasa lahat kay manang, as long as I can do it, I will.

The kids woke up just in time, the foods were already served.

Since it's Monday, they have individual errands to run to. I stayed in the living room at hindi ko nga namalayang nakatulala ako.

"Irene.."

Tinignan ko naman agad si Nay Dolores, matagal na siya saamin, she took care of me and my siblings, even my kids--especially Kate.

Ngumiti lang ako sakanya, umupo siya sa tabi ko and held my hand.

"Okay kalang ba? Hindi ka kumain kasama ng mga bata.." tanong niya.

"Oo naman, 'nay.. Busog po kasi ako kanina, baka mamaya nalang po.." sagot ko, but the real thing is, there's something missing and the feeling of longing I have for a long time, felt different today.
