It's been a week since Kate came back to Philippines from California, week from now is already their recognition day. Imee is really making an effort to convince Irene in going home for her daughter's recognition.
"You're really a hard-headed human being, Maria Victoria!" Imee rants while browsing on her phone.
"Is it too much to ask na umuwi siya dito for her daughter's recognition? Goodness!" Imee added, she turned off her phone since she couldn't do anything about it.
"Mama, are you okay? What happened? You look stress." Kate suddenly ask, heading downstairs.
"I am, may iniisip lang 'nak. Don't worry about me." Imee assured her, she opened her arms inviting her for a hug.
"You made me so proud, congrats love!" Imee remarks, Kate got an average grade of flat uno which means she got the highest grade in their section.
"All for you mama, thank you for always being there for me." Kate replies as she hugs her tita Imee tightly, Imee smile at her and planted a soft kiss on her forehead.
San Francisco, California
Irene is currently helping the maids to re-arrange their furniture downstairs, Janella is also in the living room watching a movie, Irene's phone is located beside her. She got irritated when Irene's phone keeps on ringing, she saw the caller's name and its Imee.
She didn't bother on calling her mom as she let Irene's phone rings, after a couple of calls, she saw that Imee sent a message, she immediately open Irene's phone to check it.

that your daughter's recognition
is coming and it's next week already.
It's your chance, I hope you can come home.
Janella grins, she don't want to let her mother attend Kate's recognition because until now, she's still mad at her. Well who cares though?
Janella quickly deleted Imee's message and also her calls earlier so her mom won't bother on calling her.
"Sorry Kate, Happy Recognition." Janella mutters sarcastically.
"Jea, where's my phone? Is there any message or calls? I heard a ring kanina." Irene interjected which made Janella startle.
"Here mommy, no wala naman. Maybe it's someone else's phone na nagring." She denied awkwardly, her sweats are starting to form on her forehead.
"Are you okay? Why are you seem so nervous?" Irene ask as she took her phone.
"Yes I'm okay, naiinitan lang mommy. Don't mind me." Janella replied, she awkwardly release a chuckle. Irene just nod as a response to her and left.
Makati, Philippines
"I'll be going to California, day after tomorrow.." Imee informs Borgy.
"Why? Is there any event?" Borgy asks.
"I want to visit your tita Irene there and also to inform her about Kate's recognition since she's not answering any of my calls and messages." Imee told him, little did they don't know, Kate heard it.
