A year has passed, they were able to move on slightly. No more pain for the woman of their lives, the Aranetas went back to Forbes to continue their lives without the light of the house.

Kate finished her studies with Latin honors, awarded as the Suma Cum Laude of their batch, received a ton of awards and finally a lawyer itself officially.

She didn't leave the country anymore since her tito-daddy assigned her to work in Malacañang. She was on her way inside the Palace when she suddenly bumped into someone, accidentally.

"I'm sorry Miss.."

Kate raise her brows, "Next time, watch your steps." she uttered, irritatedly.

"I'm sorry again, Miss Araneta.."

It startled her, how come that the guy knows her and when she looked up, it was the young half american doctor she hates. The one who delivered fake news about Imee's condition, way back when Imee went through airplane accident.

"Oh it's you, no worries excuse me.." Kate impassively said, she was about to go when the guy gently grabbed her wrist that made Kate surprise. The guy went near and whispered something to her.

"Dr. Ramirez, Atty. Araneta is there a problem here?" Bongbong asked as he stared at them seriously.

"Ewan, I'll go na nga to my work tito-dad. Bye, have a great day!" Kate excused, she kissed his cheeks before proceeding to her workplace inside the Palace.

Moments later, Kate is currently reviewing some papers that Bongbong needs to sign today but was interrupted when her phone suddenly rang.

"Hello Jea, what's up?" 

"Hello Iya, I'm currently cleaning mommy's room here in Cali and I found a certain paper that I think is very important, I'll send a picture to you for you to review it.."

"Oh is that so, okay send it to me nalang.."

"Will do, bye.."

After they talked, as expected, Janella sent the photo to Kate and it surprises her. It's her parents' divorce paper and it wasn't sign by her but how come? She thought that it was already granted, she analyze every information that was stated on the paper, and it is confirmed, it was a new copy because the first one got denied.
