It's already afternoon when Kate left their family house, she promised her dad that she will visit him again.

Irene

Ang aga kong nagising, it's still four o'clock in the morning and my usual wake up time is five. Iminom muna ako ng tubig at kinuha ang telepono ko upang tignan kung may mga emails ba akong natanggap, don't want to miss anything.

I will attend an assembly for the arts today, kaya tumayo na ako and opened my curtains. It's so nice to have your alone time and just this peaceful, you know.

It's perfect.

The view. The wind. The sunrise.

"Goodnight, princess.."

Sa Pilipinas, it's probably seven in the evening. It became her habit to watch the sun rise and eventually greet Kate as if she could hear her, she just really missed her daughter.

God knows how much she long for her, the hugs, kisses, voice, and above all her presence is what she cries over every single night.

Right before they flew back to California, nag-usap pa sila ni Greggy and he told her na hindi siya galit at naiintindihan niya, however, she feel so disgust kapag naaalala niya kung paano niya mas sinira ang pamilyang binuo nila. Irene often blames herself kung bakit nagkaganito, like all that happened in their family feels like her fault.

She didn't even notice that her tears were already streaming down to her cheeks.

"This is all my fault, Baka nga deserve ko yung mga nangyayari at nararamdaman ko ngayon."

Unbeknownst, Janella is already looking at her by the glass door, kakapasok niya palang sa kwarto ng mommy niya.

"Mommy?" tawag niya, nagulat naman si Irene sa presensya nito. She wiped her tears at tumingin sa anak.

"Everything good?"

"Of course, why are you here? It's early pa ah." tanong niya, trying to change the topic.

"Yeah. I need to go to school early today eh, I didn't expect na you're up na.." sagot ni Janella.

"Oh you need to get ready then, go take a bath, magluluto na ako."

"Okay and good morning by the way,"

Irene went downstairs to prepare breakfast for her kids, it really makes her sad kapag it's quiet at siya lang mag-isa because her heart will always remember that she still has a daughter who's away from her.

Flashback

"Good morning to the best mommy in the whole wide-world!" a fourteen year old lady said, greeting her mom who is currently cooking their breakfast.

"Oh good morning my sweet innocent angel, how's your sleep?" sagot naman ni Irene, she embraced her daughter's arms na nakayakap sa beywang niya.

"Good naman, where is daddy and kuya's? Are they sleeping pa?"

"Your dad is taking a bath, your kuya's are also getting themselves ready. And, do you need to go to school early? You can eat already.." sabi ni Irene.
