All in a Day
The sun reaches the peak of the sky
Cotton candy clouds drift
Across a deep azure canvas
A breeze whispers through the trees
Leaves rustling in the cool air
The birds sing a sweet song
While tiny squirrels scamper
The sunbeams fall down
Like shooting stars
There, up on the hill
Lies a majestic castle
Standing firm and tall in the meadow
Never flinching as seasons pass
The sky darkens to purple
Stars blink goodnight wishes
The meadow falls silent
As if in a sleepy trance
Dawn comes slowly
After a long night
The sky lightens to blue
Streaks of color, red, pink, orange
Appear in the once-dark sky
The castle too comes to life
As the days repeat themselves
