There are voices inside my head
Echoing, echoing, calling over and over
Making me wonder what I really feel
And what I choose to see
The voices make me doubt my heart
And go for brains instead
Is all I believe true?
The voices answer with mixed emotions
Just like the ones around me
The voices just don't live in my head
They float ever around me
Crowding my thoughts
They are not confined to just my head
The voices live in people around me
That think they are right instead
Voices don't just cloud my judgement
They cloud not just my head
The voices live in all of us
They tell what they think is true
Yet not all voices tell the truth
Or a complete lie
The voices affect not just our beings
They affect others as well
The voices judge what we tell others
And warp what we think
The voices are a great nuisance
But a friend
The honest friend that never lies
The annoying one that bothers
But these voices make us the people we are
Just like our friends
The voices make us our true selves
And separate one from the pack
The voices make us unique
And color outside the lines
The voices make us perfect people
No matter how imperfect we are
A/N: I would like to thank my wonderful friend catlover215 for the brilliant idea behind this. You are a fantastic friend and person!
