For a life that never starts

Waiting for eternity

To be the perfect one

To be a rule follower

To do no wrong

Waiting for all past crimes

To be suddenly undone

Waiting

For a perfect world to rise

From the old ashes

But perfection is impossible

So we are always waiting

Trapped in limbo

Waiting for eternity

For the world to be finally right

And fix its wrongs

For the world to meet our expectations

Then eternity passes

And we are left waiting
