We had been raised differently
Than the other
But we were brought together
By some strange force
We came together over one similarity
We all excelled at whatever we started
We were the targets
The rejects, the bullied
But together we are a force to be reckoned with
Together we show that differences
Are simply labels
Being thrown together
Created the life I have today
Together we break boundaries
Abolish stereotypes
And show that friendship is universal
Your religion, your background
Doesn't really matter
We are comrades
Bonding together through thick
And thin
Together we are admired
For being loyal
Yet together we are shamed
For being unafraid to call attention
To what is right and wrong
Many a good night we have had
Together
Reminiscing over old times
And creating new memories
Together we have done more
Than anyone every expected
Although we are not always together
We are always close in each other's hearts
Together we stand today
Together we will stand tomorrow
We will stand for individuality
We will speak for those that cannot
But whatever we do, it will be together
Because sisters don't leave the other behind
Sisters are together
Even through darkness
We will always be together
Even when we don't know it
