Society is slowly dying
Whether we see it
Or not
It's tearing apart from within
And modern times
Are just making it worse
They layers of expectations
And desires
Are never-ending
The nonsense of the world
That allows one to dangerously overeat
And another to die of hunger
Is preposterous
It is part of the disaster that makes
Society today is a dysfunctional
Dark place
That is littered with light
And places of peace
The opposite ends
The world situation
The seemingly pointless politics
Tear society today apart
And before we know it
The very world we know
Will be in shatters
The future generations will wonder
What happened to the world
And it all reflects back
On society today
