Why is equality so hard to receive?
All we want is to be treated the same
No matter the differences
Race
Gender
Religion
Are no reasons to give others pain
These are differences, yes
But the lack of respect is alarming
The situations we live in
Where girls are told they can't
Simply for being female
Where forming friendships based on religion
Is accepted and stressed
Where extreme violence is held
Simply because of race
We are all different!
So why can't we embrace it?
Because if we did
And gave up biases
Discrimination
Bullying
The world would be a better place
And everyone would feel safer
More comfortable being themselves
If they knew they could live
Without bullying
Based on differences
We need to embrace who we are inside
And let that show
And respect others differences
Because differences make the world
