Remus gently pulled the curtain around Sirius' bed and saw his boyfriend in a small ball hugging his knees.

Sirius turned his head and locked eyes with Remus but looked away again.

"Want to cuddle?" Remus asked when he noticed Sirius didn't motion him to come into the bed.

"Not right now, i'm just thinking about my family and yeah" Sirius explained. "You get it"

Remus nodded slowly, he gets it. Sirius obviously got beat and abused at home and has trauma from it. Everyone close to Sirius has learned to always give him space if he needs it.

"I'll be in the common room, send me a message and I'll be up straight away, or Prongs or whoever okay?" Remus saw Sirius nod and slowly closed the curtian and headed downstairs.

Can you come upstairs to cuddle?

Remus turned off his phone after reading the message and said good night to the others he was downstairs with. He made his way upstairs and looked around Sirius' curtian again.

When Sirius wasn't lay there he had a look around and saw the curtians around his bed were shut too. Remus slowly opened them and saw Sirius lay there in the same position.

Remus slowly slipped behind him but didn't place his hands anywhere yet.

"You can hold me, just not below the waist." Sirius whispered and Remus did as he asked.

It was like this almost everytime Sirius was somehow reminded of his family and the awful things they did to him. If it was a letter, or Lucius saying something about his family between classes.

But this time it was a letter, and one of the worst he had gotten til now. Whilst Remus had wrapped his arms around Sirius' stomach he started to think about the letter again.

Dear Sirius Black,
Summer is here in a few weeks, don't expect it to be any better than last year. You will not be allowed at James' house at any point of the summer. And if we find you have sneaked out of the house or broken any of the family rules you will be severely punished.
If you need to be reminded of the rules you will follow ask once you arrive home, you will get the rules and a few beatings.
I am very disappointed in you Sirius, that you are still dating the muggle born boy, once you arrive home we can agree on a fair punishment.
I don't want this to be too long, I'm not spending my time on a fag that happens to be my son.

The letter it's self wasnt that bad, mostly the usual but Sirius has never been this worried and anxious to go home in a few weeks.

"I'm sorry"

Remus tightened his arms slightly around Sirius in confusion of what he meant. "What are you sorry for love?"

Sirius was quiet for a moment before shuffling slightly back into Remus' touch. "For not letting you touch me, for being such a fucking nuisance."

"Sirius listen to me now" Remus began, "It doesn't make a difference to me if we have sex or not, whatever makes you comfortable. I'm not dating you for your body or to have sex, I'm dating you for your energetic and funny self."

Sirius sometimes found it hard to believe that Remus would still love him after he told him he wasn't as comfortable with sex anymore. They talked about it, Sirius explained why and they came to an agreement in the end.

A few weeks before that had happened Sirius had been at home for the christmas holiday, and it was when his parents had found out he was queer and dating Remus.

They had touched him all over, told him Remus would never want to be with him after this. And made him so uncomfortable in his body that they eventually broke up.

Remus felt as if Sirius let a small sigh of relief out but he wasn't quite done. "And you are not a nuisance at all, I love you so much Sirius okay?"

Sirius turned around to face Remus and nodded slightly. Remus gave him a warm smile and wiped his tears and left a small kiss on his forehead.

«Sleep?»

Sirius nodded and cuddled right into Remus. «I love youuu» Remus giggled into Sirius' neck leaving small kisses.

Sirius smiled and looked up to Remus. «I love you more»
