"Jesus fucking fuck!"

Remus rushes into the hallway to see Sirius on the floor holding his back and toys scattered across the narrow hallway.

"Shit Sirius, are you okay?" Remus asks moving all the toys away and held Sirius against him.

Sirius groans slightly but nods his head. "Yeah, just my back, definitely wasn't expecting it."

Remus lets out a small laugh in relief and helps Sirius to stand up. "It was Elias toys that she didn't put away, I probably should have checked but I was busy"

Sirius shakes his head and puts a gentle hand on Remus' shoulder. "Nobody's fault, don't worry, we'll just remind her that it's important"

Remus smiles, Sirius has the sweetest soul on earth. "Yeah, I'll go see her now"

"I have a gift for you"

Sirius looks up towards the voice of Remus and smiles. "Yeah? I've not forgotten anything special have I?"

Remus laughs and shakes his head and sits next to Sirius. "No, this is something you've wanted for awhile, I just couldn't wait any longer"

Remus pulls forward a heavy box and Sirius starts getting curious. Remus lifts something up and places it gently on Sirius' lap.

Remus stays silent as Sirius' fingers dart over the thing looking for braille. Sure enough, he finds it near the top.

Sirius gasps and looks up at Remus before furiously skipping to a random page and traces his finger over a line.

"You didn't"

Remus laughs smiling. "I did"

Sirius covers his mouth and hugs Remus straight away. "But they're so expensive"

Remus laughs and rubs Sirius' back gently. "You deserve it"

Sirius pulls away and wipes his eyes laughing slightly and finds the 'book' (a folder with pages inside) again.

"God how much was this Remus?"

Remus isn't sure he wants to say, it was quite a lot for only the first book in a series of five.

"Remus?"

"Right yes um, well this one was around $250"

Sirius gasps and holds the book a bit more gently still skipping through random lines, he can't believe this book was his.

"I don't even know what to say, I've wanted this for so many years. Thank you so much Remus" He says with the biggest smile Remus had ever seen (and most watered eyes).

Remus smiles and holds Sirius' free hand in his own. "I'm so glad love"

"Elia! Come down here right now!" Shouts Sirius from the living room, he wasn't very happy.

Elia creeps down and peeks round the door and sees her dad waiting patiently for her.

"I can hear you"

Right. "What's up?"

Sirius sighs and points at the floor, Elia slowly looks down to see school books and a jumper on the floor.

"I'm sorry I was doing my homework there and forgot!"

Sirius sighs, and moves his foot slightly around to find the books again. "I get that, but after living with me for 14 years surely you can remember the one main rule we have"

Elia looks down, slightly ashamed. Not leaving things on the floor really was the biggest rule they had.

"I know I'm sorry, did you get hurt?"

Sirius nods, "I did, so please take your things upstairs before it happens again, I'm not mad but take this as a warning"

Elia nods and hurries upstairs with her books and jumper and Sirius hears a muffled laugh from the door to the kitchen.

"Jesus how long have you been there?"

Remus laughs slightly and lets out a sigh. "Since you called Elia"

Sirius rolls his eyes and walks towards Remus with a hand out which Remus takes gently and pulls Sirius into a hug.

"I'm not actually hurt though, I fell on carpet but still, might make her think more"

Remus nods and hums stroking his fingers through Sirius' hair. "Good you weren't hurt"

Sirius nods against Remus' collarbone before letting go. "Gonna make dinner" Remus hums in approval. Even blind, Sirius always made the best dinners.

"No love wait" Remus says, holding back a small laugh to try and not be rude.

"Hm?"

Remus sighs to stop his smile and to help Sirius. "You have the wrong pants and blouse on, they are the same material but I'll help you, give me a second"

Sirius blushes, slightly embarrased. Remus comes quickly after with the right clothes.

"You have purple pants on and a yellow blouse, maybe wear it next time we go to the circus"

Sirius laughs slapping Remus' arm playfully. "Shut up, they are the exact same just different colors" He says feeling the different clothe articles.

After dressed in the right clothes Sirius sits on his desk and feels through his draws. "Remus do my eyeliner"

Half naked Remus walks over and bends down, lifting Sirius' chin up to get a better look. He draws the brush gently over his eyelids.

"Beautiful"

Sirius grins and brushes his hair out. He stands up putting his shoes on. "Ready to go?" Remus asks.

Sirius nods and then feels around the wall. "Three steps to your left."

Sirius follows the instructions and was met perfectly with his cane, he grins at Remus who links his arm with Sirius'.

"Dinner date here we come"
