"Hey love! Didn't expect you here what's up?" Sirius says surprised when Remus was stood outside his dance studio.

Sirius notices that Remus seems embarrassed with his friends stood around him so he waves them off to go home.

Sirius skips down the few steps and grabs Remus' hand. "I just, I don't know I wanted to see you before the dance tomorrow. I'm just a bit nervous"

Sirius smiles, "Okay, we can do something if you want, or just stay at one of our houses"

Remus smiles and points to his car to take them somewhere, knowing Sirius took the bus or train.

"I was wondering if you could maybe teach me to dance?" Remus asks embarrased as he rubs his nape.

Sirius smiles and does a little jump. "Really? For tomorrow? Yes of course I will" Sirius says excited, and holds Remus' arm a bit tighter.

"But like I can't dance, at all"

Sirius laughs. "That's what I'm here for"

Back at the Potter manor Sirius leads them to a room near the back, it was empty on the inside with mirrors covering wall and bars on the other side.

Ah, Sirius' dance room.

"Look, where these" Sirius says throwing sweatpants at Remus. "You're not dancing in jeans"

Remus laughs and changes to Sirius' demmand. Once Sirius had changed too he connected his phone to the speaker and played quiet background music.

"It's very simple" Sirius says walking back to Remus. He held Remus' hands and places them on his hips whilst he put his arms on Remus' biceps.

"And then we can either just sway around gently like this" Sirius explains and starts stepping left, then right slowly to the music. "Or we can learn an actually step routine, but that's not necessary"

Remus follows and soon enough gets the hang of it. "And then I can lean down and kiss you like this"

He leans down as Sirius steps on his toes to meet in a soft kiss. "You can definitely do that"

Sirius grins up at Remus as they continue their slow dance. Sirius rests his head on Remus' collarbone as Remus holds around waist.

They dance calmly together and Remus spins Sirius around making them both laugh and kiss again.

And then they were at the ball dance the next day, all the men in gorgeous suits with diamonds covering the brightly covered suits. The women with the biggest ball dresses in the same bright colors and diamonds.

Remus arrived with Lily, who was wearing a stunning forest green dress to match James' green suit.

Remus himself was wearing matching maroon suits with Sirius, and when he hears the grand doors open again he sees Sirius walk in with James and Euphemia and Fleamont, also dressed beautifully.

Sirius skips down the stairs very unformal and jogs happily over to Remus past the big crowds of friends and couples.

"Hey" Sirius says sheepishly as he scratches his nape.

"Hey, you look gorgeous" Remus says and smiles looking Sirius up and down.

Sirius blushes and cups Remus' cheeks giving him a kiss. "You look fabulous too love"

James finally makes his way over to the lovers and Lily who was third wheeling for that moment.

James and Lily share a kiss as Remus stands next to Sirius wrapping his arm around his waist. Whilst James and Sirius talk Remus takes a moment to look around the hall.

Beautiful golden walls with magical drawings on the roof, and beautifully patterned floors. He spots Prince Regulus dancing happily with his newly found princess, Remus is happy for them. Sirius secretly isn't.

His focus drifts back to Sirius as the smaller practically drags him to the main dance floor. "Dance with me Remus"

Remus laughs and follows him, okay remember your practise Remus.

He hands fall automatically to Sirius' waist and Sirius' on his biceps, they talk, sway slowly and Remus spins Sirius around playfully.

"Look at them" Sirius says nodding his head in the direction of James and Lily dancing beautifully and more advanced than Remus and Sirius, doing lifts and spins as if they had been practicing a routine.

"If only I was that good" Remus says making Sirius grin.

"Well I'm good enough for the both of us, and hey you're actually not that bad for one day of a little practise with me"

Remus smiles and leans down to kiss Sirius gently letting his hands move from his hips to his face.

"Follow me" Sirius whispers in the kiss pulling Remus once again through the crowds and out of the palace through what seems to be a secret door.

That door leading to a little path into a gorgeous garden. Remus is speechless as his eyes look at the small lake with frogs and fireflighs lighting up the garden.

There were flowers everywhere with pretty butterflies on them, suddenly Sirius drags him further into the garden passing stunning water fountains and big hedges.

Sirius had lead Remus to a wooden swing fit for the both of them to sit in. Remus sits next to him and Sirius rests his head on Remus' shoulder.

"I love you" Sirius mutters gently as he relaxes himself into Remus.

"I love you most" Remus says back as they watch the very end of the sunset go down on the lake.

"Do you miss the palace?" Remus asks curious, he knew the answer, but it might have changed being here for the first time in many years.

"No, I would have been King, and I don't want that. But I don't miss the place or my family at all"

Remus nods and kisses Sirius' forehead. "Proud of you, you know that"

Sirius smiles looking up at Remus to give him a kiss. "Thank you"
