Sirius arrives at work, in his own tattoo parlour he opened a few years prior, he smiles at Marlene before heading into the back.

A few minutes later she knocks and peaks her head in. "You have two appointments today, first at 11 other at 2"

Sirius smiles. "Okay thank you" and goes back to replying to emails.

The time quickly goes from 8am to 11am and lastly 2pm, Sirius starts getting the room ready for the last appointment.

"Hi I'm Sirius, I'm tattooing you today, can I take a look at the design?"

They figure out the design, and has a print of it on his arm. They are ready for the tattoo. 

The guy, named Tobias sits on the chair, looking slightly uncomfortable. "Is this your first tattoo?
It's alright to be nervous" Sirius asks friendly.

He shakes his head. "No, this will be my second, but can I just ask a question?"

Sirius looks up from the tattoo gun he was filling with ink and smiles. "Yeah!"

"Are you, are you trans?"

Sirius' smile fades a bit, and he coughs awkwardly. "Yeah, uhm yeah I am"

Tobias stands up from the chair and Sirius takes a step back slightly confused, but he could guess where this was going. "I don't want you to tattoo me"

Sirius was stood in shock, he didn't know what to say, but the customers come first. "Oh, would you rather have Marlene, the blonde girl tattoo you?"

Tobias hesitates. "Is she.. normal?"

Sirius was holding back all his rage and sadness, he didn't know if he wanted to punch the guy or have a panic attack.

He puts on a smile. "She was born a girl, and is still a girl now, so if that's what you mean by normal then yes she is"

The man sighs in relief and nods. "Yeah, I'll have her then"

Sirius fakes the biggest smile, and doesn't hestitate to slam the door as he leaves to get Marlene.

Luckily there weren't any people in the waiting room to hear it. "You're tattooing the guy in there, I'll pay you extra"

Marlene looks confused but nods. "Yeah, sure is everything alright?"

"No, he's a fucking idiot. I want to change out contract so we can fucking kick people out"

Marlene looks shocked, she doesn't know what to expect when she walks in to Tobias. "Don't worry, he'll like you because you're 'normal'"

Sirius rolls his eyes, trying to fight back tears as he grabs his bag and coat to leave, he was leaving after that appointment anyway.

"You're home early, everything alright?"

Sirius drops his bag, and as dramatic as he was storms upstairs. "Don't wanna talk about it"

That translates to: "Come cuddle me in an hour after you've given me time and I'll tell you, I'm just upset."

Remus bits his lip slightly worried. "Okay love, you just shout me if you need anything"

The hour goes quickly and Remus was soon about to go upstairs to see Sirius, but instead he hears him come down the stairs.

Remus stands up from the sofa and hugs him tightly before sitting on the sofa letting Sirius cuddle up to him.

"Was gonna tattoo this dickhead, but I think he saw my trans pin and didn't want me to tattoo him cause I wasn't, in his words 'normal'".

Remus gasps lightly and wraps his arms around Sirius tighter. "He just missed out on his opportunity to get a perfect tattoo from the one and only Sirius Black"

Sirius can't help but smile against Remus' neck. "Lupin-Black, and I would have fucked up the tattoo on purpose"

Remus laughs and kisses his forehead. "I'm really sorry that happened love, how do you feel about it now?"

Sirius sighs. "I was mad, at the time. Now I'm just upset, it doesn't make me feel that good"

Remus hates when Sirius feels how he feels now, he can't imagine how it must feel to be born in the wrong body, then getting hated for it.

"What can I do to make you feel better?"

Sirius shrugs. "Just hold me, like now"

Remus nods and they just stay in eachothers arms, until Remus feels his collarbone getting wet.

"Oh, Sirius darling, it's okay. You're away from him now, safe with me, please don't cry."

Sirius can't stop the tears so he just lets them fall slowly until they stop eventually. "Thank you for staying with me" He says with a shaky voice.

Remus rubs his back comfortingly. "I will always stay with you, that's what this is for" he says showing off his ring.

A smile appears on Sirius' face. "Yep, you're stuck with me now, forever"

Remus laughs. "I wouldn't wish for anything else"
