Evan climbed up the small wall of Gregory's garden. It has been a month since last time the two boys got to see each other. Today Gregory wanted to see his boyfriend really bad, so he annulled everything he had to do and texted him in the morning to ask him if he could come over. Evan suggested that he came so they could hang out at his place but the taller boy seemed reticent. The light eyed male gave up and decided to make his significant other happy by doing whatever he wanted him to.
Gregory also seemed to be very tired and distracted lately, getting the smaller boy's curiosity.
As he opened the front door with the key Gregory gave him, Evan ended up facing a very, very tall brown eyed man. Fuck, I forgot his father existed.
<< - Umh, hello young men. The not so sober man said to the smaller boy in front of him. How did you get these keys, and what are you doing in my house?
- I am... Umh... The new made, and the key is... Greg- your son gave it to me.
- Oh, I guess my wife hired you.
- I-Indeed.
- Come in, do not worry, she'll be back soon: for now you can wait on the couch, I'll go get some groceries.
- Goodbye sir. >>
Evan looked at the door as the man closed it. Wife? What wife? And wasn't he poor, how would he afford a maid? The boy shook his head in annoyance. He walked towards his boyfriends room, entering without knocking.
<< - Oh God. He sighed.
- I know I'm pretty, but come on, be modest about it. Gregory jokingly replied.
- Oh shut up.
- What happened?
- Well, I kinda fucked up.
- Tell me.
- It's about your father... >>
Gregory turned around, his head tilted and his eyebrows raised.
<< - Now you've got my attention.
- So the "I fucked up" part wasn't enough?
- Boy just look at you, you're Evan, what could you possibly do that would be that bad? I was expecting something like "I lost my keys, oopsie doopsie".
- Fuck you. >>
Gregory laughed once again, turning back to his homework. Evan sat down on the bed.
<< - So... I may have run into your father earlier...
- What happened?
- He asked me how I got there, so I said I was the new maid...
- Great!
- No, not great!
- Look, my father's conscience is kind of stuck in the past. He sighed. The past where I was a kid, and my mom was alive, and he worked really hard to get us whatever we needed. We used to have a few maids, and sometimes my mom would fire one and hire another one without telling anyone. Sometimes she would do that just for fun.
- Well... Guess I got lucky.
- Very. >>

It had been about an hour now since Evan entered the room, and Gregory was still working. Once in a while, the younger boy would complain:
<< - Gregoryyyyyy, I'm boreeeeeed!
- What do you want me to do about it?
- Give me attention!
- I still have work to do.
- Come on! What's more important; me, or the homework?
- Don't ask for answers you don't wanna hear.
- Graaaaaaaah! >>
Gregory was very determined. He wanted to end his year with the highest grades he could get. He was planning on something, and maybe it was the perfect moment to announce it to his beloved, after all? He took a deep breath, leaving his papers to sit on his bed, against the wall, winning a hopeful glance from his lover. He opened his his arms.
<< - Come. >>
Evan jumped on his feet excitedly, running towards the older male, sitting on his lap while hugging him.
<< - A whole month without seeing you. And I though I was going to leave without a only hug. I'm really starting to think you don't love me, Gregory. He sighed sadly, gripping onto the other boy's back. >>
Gregory's eyes widened as he heard those words from the only person he probably actually loved in the world.
<< - You can't imagine how wrong you are, he replied. I swear,it's not like that.
- Then how is it, Gregory? Evan asked, is usual smile fading a bit more. When we first met, I used to think you worked a lot. I would just sit by your side and wait. I honestly don't even know how I ended up falling for you, but I did. Then came the moment when, I guess, you started having feelings for me, since you started to actually spend time with me. He said, smiling. Then we got together, and it lasted a bit more. And after that not only did you go back to your stupid homework but you also started working even more than before. Are you ignoring me, or trying to break up with me? Is that why you seemed so nervous? Is it, Gregory? He ended, now crying.
- That's not what I expected you to feel like, Gregory said, his own eyes watering. I love you more than anything else; believe that. He took a deep breath, trying to calm down, look, I've been planning something. That's something I was planning to do years before I met you. It's a easy thing to do for me alone, but I don't want to do it alone. I want to do it with you. >>
Evan looked up at his lover, his crying calming down, now blushing.
<< I don't understand. >>
Gregory ran his hand through Evan's hair, smiling at him while taking two airline tickets out of his backpack.
<< - Did you ever go to England, love? >>
