first of all, argyle and eddie were great additions to this season!!! i love them so much already and if any of them dies... i will be mad.
steve. i think we all know what steve's fate is... i really hope not. so many theories, the biggest and most realistic one being that he will sacrifice himself to save nancy. holy fuck ugh. i agree. i definitely think we're nearing that time when someone needs (because we are watching stranger things after all) to die and hop would just be too comical at this point. my steve, i really hope we are all wrong, but i don't think there is any other character who's death would hurt us more.
VECNA/001/little boy. FUCK FUCK FUCK. I LOVE THIS WHOLE VILLAIN ARC + THIS WHOLE STRANGER THINGS STORYLINE AND ITS CONNECTION TO EL. WOW. they really know how to tie it all together. so many things to say about this/these characters. first and foremost, i was so fucking excited when i saw jamie campbell bower. i had only seen the first teaser trailer and honestly don't even remember if he showed up but ahhhh he's a good actor and i hadn't seen him in anything lately so i was beyond excited. now, when we first saw him as a helper, i was wary of him and then started liking him when i saw that he was helping el. when he first mentioned that there was a 001, i kind of thought holy shiiiit it's him but then he quickly said "i taught him in this very room" or something like that and i was like aw. but once el removed the device and he said "don't worry el you don't have to be scared anymore" i fucking knew he was going to turn and blast those mfs. but then i quickly realized who had caused all that blood in el's memories. and it when he started telling el the story of him as a kid, i was confused at first and then felt like holy shit!!! yes the kid??? and THEN. AND THEN. THE WHOLE VECNA THING FINALLY CAME TO BE AND HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!! amazing.
now, can we talk about Sadie Sink's performance in dear billy????? wow, she is incredible. she had me gasping for air with her! i was so terrified and honestly felt scared for her. my heart felt like it was beating out of my chest. when she finally broke free from becks and she started gasping for her and acting scared, WOW! incredible performance fr. dear billy has got to be the best episode. i started crying when she was w vecna and then her song started playing and all the memories 🥺🥺🥺
