Many of you requested a part two, so here it is! Enjoy.
Steve's driving wasn't as bad as you thought it would be. Yes, he swerved occasionally causing him to look at you nervously.
"Okay. Why the hell are you in my car again?" He asked look at you.
"Eyes on the road, Harrington!" You yelled. Your heart still hurt. Your head hurt too. Before you were with Mike you were such a shy and quiet girl, but he had changed you, not in a bad way. You began feeling more confident, dressing different, and even participating more in school activists (you played soccer for the school). However, he also made you feel like the same shy and quiet girl whenever you were around just him.
Stupid Mike.
"You got any cigarettes?" You asked feeling crazy. Cigarettes is what crazy people went to and dumbasses. You didn't smoke at all, but you wanted to feel anything but the constant pain in your heart.
"Are you dumb? No," he scoffed. He stopped near a diner. You tried to open the door, but he had it locked.
"We," he motioned between you two, "barely know each other. Can you tell me why you got in my car and why I even listened when you asked me to go!?" He asked while shaking his head. He seemed to ask the last question to himself.
"Mike Wheeler, you know him right? His sister is your girlfriend—"
"Ex. Ex-girlfriend," he interrupted.
"Well, Mike Wheeler and I have—had been together for a year today, but he suddenly decided to confess that our relationship was all based on a dare," you informed him.
"Wow," he breathed out, "that's cruel."
"Yup. Am I the weirdest girl at school?" You asked him curiously. He shifted in his seat to look at you.
"I-I mean you," he scratched the back of his head.
"Great, I am." You huffed turning to look out the window. You felt warm tears fall down your cheek.
"No. I mean you used to sort of be, but even I know you changed," he mentioned.
"Is that supposed to make me feel better?" You questioned while raising a brow. You wiped away the tears and faced him again.
"No, seriously. You sort of became cooler? No, like you've been cool, but now we really know it. I mean you do know that Coach wants to make you soccer captain, right?"
"You're the best one on the team," he added quickly.
"You think so?" you stared at him.
"I know so! You're so great out there. I go to all the games and I know you should be captain. Seriously the way you move out there, it's great," he said. He then looked at you and his cheeks flushed.
"Look at you, Steve Harrington. Total bad boy at school, but total sweetheart," you laughed.
He shook his head before looking at his steering wheel.
"You know a lot about me, yet never talked to me?" You asked.
"Well, reputation.." he said simply.
"Ah," you nodded. Of course. School badass shouldn't be see with school weirdo even if you were on the varsity soccer team.
"I've only been with you..what, 10 minutes? I can already tell you're great." He told you.
"Thanks. I guess. You too," you replied.
"I'm sure Mike regrets what he did," he said after a moment if silence. You looked at all the people eating in the diner.
"It doesn't change the fact that he kept it from me for so long."
"You should talk to him," he suggested.
"No. I need to give it some time I think," you replied.
"Okay.. We've been here for a while. Want something to eat?" He asked.
"Please. I'm starving," you smiled. He smiled at you before unlocking the door.
"Let's go then," he said before running around and opening the door for you.
