Kagami opened his eyes. Consciousness coming over him slowly, bringing all sorts of discomfort. He felt achy, as if a steamroller parade had passed over him. The light was too bright, his ears were ringing, he was picking up so many different scents that he couldn't identify one in particular.

He was confused. Until a large hand touched his hair, caressing a little awkwardly.

"Relax. Soon you'll get used to it," Aomine said. "Focus on my voice."

And that's what Taiga did. As the seconds passed, the adaptation increased. Quickly and supernaturally. He noticed that they were in his own room. Lying on his bed, under a sheet. He was very comfortable in Daiki's arms, just for the record. He vlushed

"It worked..." He whispered to stop the silence from settling between them. Despite being embarrassed, he did nothing to escape that hug. Unlike before, he didn't think it was so bad to get involved with a boy anymore in relation to the Alpha.

In that instant, it calmed and relaxed him naturally. Despite that, he felt shy, just as he would feel if he enjoyed so much intimacy with a girl.

"Of course it did. Told you to trust me. Only I could have done that".  Aomine said feeling smug.  The redhead rolled his eyes and lifted his face a little to look at the other. Aomine's face showed tiredness and he had dark circles under his eyes a little accentuated.

"Are you okay? " Kagami asked concerned.

"You answer me" Aomine  smiled crookedly . "Can't you feel it?"

The question made Kagami frown reflectively. Yes, he could pick up snippets of sensations that weren't his own. Which he knew immediately belonged to the Alpha.

"Yes you're are fine I can feel it". Kagami replied.  "What else can you feel?" Aomine asked again.

"The sounds are clearer. The colors... I feel... Kuroko here at home. I feel the others too, far away. But I can't say who is who. And there's a girl! Satsuki."

"My inner animal," Kagami continued with a smile. "I can feel it now. It's a Tiger".

"Amazing". Daiki smiled. He almost said that Kagami himself looked like a tiger, with those sharp fangs.

" Mine is a Panther. It wasn't the first time I entered the Zone, I already knew that insufferable animal." Aomine said with irritation.

This made Taiga chuckle softly. " You have my Sympathy".

" OE!  Respect to your Alpha". Aomine said although there wasn't any anger in his words.

"Hmm... well remember, Alpha. We have to delimit a few things before moving on." Kagami said that in a serious tone of voice, which made Daiki uneasy. He sensed some stress coming from Taiga.

"What?" Daiki asked

"I'm feeling this weird thing". He moved his pointed finger from himself to the other several times. "Between the two of us."

"Yes." Aomine tightened his embrace around the boy. "We are linked now. Your animal has accepted mine. And you have accepted me. We are destined companions".

The information only made Taiga's face heat up. It got worse knowing that the other knew what he was feeling at the moment , not only that he could feel excitement coming from Daiki.
"Can you not be so…excited about it? It's embarrassing!" He managed to speak.

All Daiki did was crack a huge smile and said "I can't control this."

"Uh... aren't you the strongest Alpha in the world?" Kagami inquired.
