The bedroom door opened and a silhouette became clear, revealing it to be Hanamiya standing under the doorway.  Everything in the Beta indicated satisfaction.  For a brief moment, Kagami was tempted to attack him and escape, but the other saw the reckless action and raised a hand.

"Does the name “Himuro Tatsuya” mean anything to you? "

The question quelled Taiga's urge. He forced himself to sit on the bed, the only piece of furniture in the small room.  The urge to punch Hanamiya in the face and erase that smug smile was immense, but the concern for his brother overcame that desire.

" How cute... Behave yourself and I can give you all the information you want " Hanamiya entered the room and leaned against the wall next to it, crossing his arms.  Kagami saw a shadow move outside.  He smelled the scent that made his inner animal uncomfortable and withdrawn. The enemy Alpha watched closely, a realization that made Taiga rub his neck, disgusted at the memory of Seto touching the Mark.

" There's so much to say I don't even know where to begin! "

" Where's my brother?  How... how did you know he's my brother?  He better not be hurt!  And where is Daiki?! "  there were so many doubts and questions that Kagami ended up asking several at once, to the enemy's amusement.  He hadn't been able to make contact with his companion, so he assumed he was still unconscious.

" You can't imagine the emotion I'm feeling, man!  Do you know how long it's been since an Omega was born in Japan?  You're already legend, damn it.  And now... there's something right in front of my eyes!  It would be great if we had a positive bond, but you and that Alpha had to recognize each other as mates… not that it matters.  A negative bond is more fun! " Hanamiya flashed a grin.

" MY WHAT !!!" Kagami was shocked. Like WTF is this MF saying.

" Calm down!  I will explain everything. Be a good Omega and listen to me." He looked eager for such a moment, as if he loved the sound of his own voice echoing through the little room.  He maintained the nonchalant pose of someone who knows he is a Beta and, consequently, stronger than an Omega.  Plus he had the reassuring presence of Alpha himself and two hostages on his hands. " The Interhigh games started some time ago, you know that because Seirin has been participating too.  It was in one of these games that we faced Himuro's team.  I felt a strange energy in him, it was weak... " Hanamiya began explaining.

" At first I thought he was a Shifter not yet attuned.  During the match it became clear that he is human.  With a potential far above the acceptable for this breed.  Himuro is good because he accumulated supernatural energy that flowed through a bond.  You know, humans are energy-stealing parasites, even though they're not like us.  But Alphas and Betas can't do that kind of thing, only Omegas"  He shrugged.

" Himuro spent years in contact with an Omega, that's a fact.  Just as it is a fact that he has foreign mannerisms, that is, he has just arrived in Japan.  Among all the possibilities, I figured that..

(A) he knew a foreign Omega, which is rare, but not impossible and (B) the Omega could have come to Japan or not. "

Hanamiya stopped his speech for a few seconds, enjoying having Taiga's attention all on himself, as the prisoner was eager to understand how he had discovered so much.  Thanks to a coincidence... No.  It wasn't a simple coincidence, it was logic.  Sooner or later, someone connected to the supernatural would understand that Himuro couldn't be that good for a human. Many wouldn't care, perhaps thinking like Makoto did at first, a non-attuned shifter.

Kirisaki Daiki being an ambitious and unmeasured Pack had made all the difference.  Hanamiya had felt the smoke in the air and hadn't calmed down until he found the fire.
