Kagami was irritated. And tense. And upset. And the three other guys felt his bad mood emanating in uncontrollable waves, to the point of bothering their inner animals. The problem was starting the conversation.

If Taiga was told that one day he would be sitting in his living room with three members of The GOM, he would laugh! Or, at the very least, think of a meeting to talk about basketball! Also, why were the three of them looking at him? as if it were a freak?! He wanted explanations!

The eyes of red irises gazed at each one of them. They went from Kuroko who was sitting besides him on his sofa, next to him were Kise and Aomine, both accommodated in the armchair in front. Aomine Daiki, in this case was very comfortable, as if he were in his own house.

And incredibly, he was the one who kicked off the matter.

"Tetsu," he said in that lazy tone that was characteristic of him. "Are you sure my animal isn't a bloody wolf disguised in another form?"

Kagami sulked more when he heard the other's first sentence and that it had to do with the strange conversation and the inexplicable unease felt before. To his surprise Kuroko, the boy always balanced and rational, replied!

"Yes, Aomine kun. An Alpha wolf, disguised or not, would never allow Akashi kun to be Pack captain. You don't have the characteristics of wolves."

"Why ask, Aominecchi?" Kise asked curiously.

Daiki shifted on the couch.
"Because my animal is a little weird" he looked at Tetsu. "You'd better get away from this Omega, or I won't be able to control myself anymore".

The phrase surprised the others. Looking more closely, they saw beyond the nonchalant pose. In fact, Daiki was holding the sofa's upholstery tightly. And there were almost imperceptible droplets of sweat on his forehead.

Without replying Kuroko got to his feet and walked away. He didn't mean to provoke an Alpha, not even a friend.

"Switch places with me," he suggested and it was a well-received idea. Daiki got up and sat next to Kagami, who looked duly stunned by the words, while Kuroko sat next to Kise. It was evident how the Alpha calmed down, no longer having to try to control the beast inside him.

Taiga didn't understand what was happening, but he himself felt a little calmer with the proximity of the other, inexplicably.

The blond boy put his hand to his chin and became thoughtful, remembering the cell phone conversation, when Daiki had given some information and talked about the discovery that that redhead, in addition to an Omega, was his destined mate.

“It's just that your inner animal is a solitary hunter, Aominecchi. One that's not used to living in a pack. But when it's about a likely mate, things change. Possessiveness is a very Alpha trait." Kise explained.

"Oe" Kagami decided to get involved . "I won't fall for that joke. And I'll say it's not funny".

His irritation returned, obviously. And he didn't even need supernatural powers to capture it.

"Nobody here is kidding, Kagami kun," Kuroko said.

“Oh, sure. You're…shifters, is that it? Like Twilight Bella and glow in the sun? The whole package, isn't it?"

"Ee?" Daiki grumbled. The calm of his animal infecting him "I don't know that."

"Who shines in the sun is the vampire" Kise revealed, then the doubt hit and he turned to Kuroko " Isn't it right, Kurokocchi?"

"OE!" Kagami cut the subject, drawing attention to himself . "It's not what matters! Do you guys think I'm an idiot and I'm going to fall for this shifter talk? Or are you using drugs and..."
