Kentaro stopped his arm movement at the last second, freezing him in midair. He withdrew from delivering the new blow against his prisoner. He wasn't going to do any good.

" Has this guy blacked out yet?"  Hanamiya asked disdainfully.

" Well," the Alpha's answer sounded a little unsure. He watched the Omega briefly, before coming to a different conclusion. "It doesn't look like he's simply simple unconsciousness."

" Do you think he's entered the Zone?" the option didn't sound interesting. If the redhead had really entered the zone, it meant he'll be getting mental protection. His inner animal would take care of him and keep the physical torture from being mental as well. Even though the Alpha continued to whip and lash out at his body, the effectiveness of the punishment had dropped dramatically!  They would have to take a break and then force him out of the Zone. He had never dealt with anything like this before. They will have to use Daiki for this.  Causing the Alpha pain seemed like it'll bring the Omega back, turning the bond of mates into an anchor that would bring him to reality again.

Seto did not respond. He had no doubt that the boy was capable of such an act.  Before he could say anything else, he had an unexpected sensation. His inner animal stirred, alert.  He exchanged a meaningful look with the Beta.

" The presence of that Alpha...?"  Makoto spoke in disbelief.

" Gone." Confirmation came quickly. Suddenly, Kentaro had stopped sensing the presence of the enemy. As if the Alpha had simply disappeared.

" Impossible! " Hanamiya exclaimed angrily. There was no sign that he had moved away. Just a while before he had felt the boy outside the house, trapped in the small shed. But then nothing! As if he had evaporated into thin air.

Seto didn't say anything. He tried to go free the Omega's wrists, which fell heavily to the ground. Whatever had happened, it needed to be investigated without wasting time. He scooped Kagami into his arms and threw him over his shoulder.

" I'll put him back in the cell. Keep an eye out while I see what's going on." He ordered.

The Beta obeyed, following the Alpha out of there. He could feel other Betas approaching, lost in the inexplicable disappearance.  They reached Kagami's cell and then the worst happened. Kentaro had just placed Kagami on the old mattress when the presence of one of his Beta gaurds weakened significantly and then disappeared.

" Itsuki… what the fuck!" Hanamiya swore, pale.

"Don't leave the Omega's side. I'll send Hara to help you" he said and quickly left the little room. He didn't understand how the GOM brats could have hidden their presence, but they had. And even dared to attack one of his boys.

He ran to check on Itsuki. Beads of cold sweat gathered on his forehead as a frightening possibility arose.  Itsuki's weakening could only mean one thing, the boy had received a serious injury!  And if his presence was gone, then the worst had happened.

But the "disappearance"of the rival Alpha had happened adversely. There was no weakening or any signs of injury. It had simply ceased to be noticeable.

What was going on there?!

" Satsuki "  Akashi took the girl by the arm and pushed her towards the vehicle.
"Get out of the perimeter of the Pack. I need someone who could maintainthe human form."

She moaned low, gripping the front of her shirt tightly.  Only at great cost of will she was able to comply, almost crawling back to the Sprinter and maneuvering.  She knew just enough to drive in reverse and hit the gas pedal.
