Chapter 23

-Mikey's POV-

Drown in his thought, he wonder why he felt miserable when he heard she will be away for awhile. "Kyoto..huh...", he mumbled as he sighed, "...it's not that far..". He wonder if she would change her mind if he asked for her to stay, 'It's not like she have to go this year..'. Getting up from the couch, he made up his mind that he would at least persuade her to not leaving or maybe come back earlier. Making his way, he froze in front of her door when he heard her faint voice yet enough for him to hear it clearly the words that shook his entire world, "what do I do...I'm so happy...gosh..I like him so much... I want him to hold me longer..". He could feel his face turned all red and how his usual calm heart pounding like crazy. 'W-what..what is...what is going on with me?!', he furrowed his brows in confusion. Never he felt something like this. 

The overwhelming weird feelings, the sudden feeling of his heart like about to burst from just hearing her words. He looked at his hands as he could see his hands are trembling a little, 'what's with me...something...wrong...'. Not even he is trembling like that when he is in fight. The feeling of excitement and confusion about what's wrong with himself both physically and mentally sure scared him. Took a step back, he didn't know why he decided to not knock on that door. Running away, Ruri caught him at the front door, "Nii-chan going home?". He flinched when heard her voice as he nodded his head, trying to hide his red face from the child, "Yeah.. Tell Y/nchin I'm leaving..". "Nii-chan...are you sick?", Ruri coming closer as Mikey looked at her a bit confuse, "Why you ask?". "Nii-chan red! Red like um Ruri have red when sick", hearing that he fall into silent as he now wonder if he is sick, "...I..guess..so? I don't know.. See you, kiddo..". He ruffle ruri head before just took his leave, leaving the confused child standing there. He didn't know why he suddenly want to just leave her house, he wonder why he is running away like that. Why his body reacting crazy like right now. Trembling, turning red, feeling nervous, and even feeling something weird inside of his stomach.

"I..What's wrong with me....", he looked at Koko and Kakucho that is now looked at each other. "Man.. Isn't that what people called love sick?", Kaku saw the confuse looks on mikey face as that sure made Kakucho taken back a little, "Bro..Seriously? You..have you never liking a girl or something?". "Is my sister count?", Koko sighed as he shook his head lightly, "I don't think that's what Kakucho meant.. He meant like romantically.". Frustration and annoyance could be seen on his face, seeing that expression, Kakucho smiled faintly, '..Just like izana huh..are all strong people are idiot like them?'. "Boss, do you even ever have a girlfriend?", Mikey shrugged as he leaned back to rest his back, "Girlfriend is too troublesome and pain in the ass to have. Why the hell I need such thing". 'Ah..so this will be his first time.. no wonder..', again a sighed escaped Koko's lips, that sure seems offend the blond hair guy, "You've been sighing a lot lately, Kokonoi. Are you mocking me or something?". "That's not it, boss. I just didn't know how to explain it to you.. The feelings you got, that's what people get when they are fallen in love. Meaning you want to have a relationship with her..", again Mikey scoffed as he rolled his eyes, "Me? Pft! No I'm not in love with her. She is the one that into me, not me. Just because I like her a bit, doesn't meant she can be my girlfriend. Who need that anyway-". "Then you are fine if she is dating other guy?", hearing that question from Kakucho, that's enough to made his veins on his neck appeared, clearly that question upset him, "Who? Is she dating someone? Why would she date someone when she said she like me?! Tell me who... I will kill that bastard". That threatening deep cold voice sure sent shiver to both koko and kakucho. "Calm down, man! Kaku only asking if! She is not dating someone, well at the moment no.. You see, what you feel right now is jealousy. ", koko try to ease Mikey anger as he clearly could see the guy in front of him is ready to even ripped apart their heads, "N-now think about this! What would you feel if she come to you said she like you and wanted to..have a date with you?". They could see Mikey expression calming down as koko nodded to Kakucho, "..now imagine if she cling to your arm and said have the best day after spent it with you". Oh how surprised they are saw how peaceful Mikey face is just by them making those small scenarios. Seems now he is drowned inside his own little world, imagining things that has been said by his two friends.

Kakucho leaned to koko, whispering to him, "what do we do now.. this is really really bad... he is really into her but he is too dumb..". Koko clicked his tongue as he could already felt the headache and the frustration as clearly Mikey won't be able to handle this all alone and he knew if their boss got dumped, that would probably bring the end of the world for Kanto Manji Gang, "..dammit..he is too prideful and too stupid to know what to do..". While the two busy whispering to each other, trying to figure how to make their idiotic boss learn what is love in romantic way, the peaceful atmosphere was broke when Sanzu waltz in, "huh? Boss? You are here? Wait.. I thought you are on a date???". Mikey furrowed his brows, "Date?". "Huh??? Weird.. Y/n said she is going on date and I heard a guy voice, and familiar engine when I called her to ask about a shop for cake. I thought..that was...with you?", oh how the air turned cold and eerie. Mikey could felt his chest tightened, the thought she is on date with another guy, that sure flip another switch inside of him. Bloodlust could be seen faintly in his eyes, his usual cold voice turned colder and darkened, "Koko.. find out where she is... Now..". He glance at Koko, that sure made Koko hurriedly run to find the information to know where his boss sweetheart. "You two..find her..and bring her to me..", hearing that, Kaku gulping as Sanzu hurriedly leave the after grabbing Kaku arm.
