Her brother smiled and hugged her tightly.

"I miss you little sis."

"I miss you too, Kuya. Kamusta ka na?"

Pinakawalan muna siya nito mula sa pagkakayakap bago halikan ang kanyang pisngi.

"I'm a little bit tired but I can manage. I'm sorry for not visiting early, I need to finish up some things before coming here--"

He was cut-off from explaining when they heard his friend's voice.

"Eind! You're here already? Bakit hindi ka pa pumasok?"

He smiled when he saw Amia's friend and Trey together, seems like it's going well between those two.

"I was about to, but I'm catching up with my sister first."

Trey frowned and give him a confused look.

"What do you mean 'sister'? As far as I know you're an only child."

"I am, I met Amia a year ago in front of the cafe where she's working and asked directions when I was lost finding the address of my targe--friend. Then we became friends and because of our age gap I treat her as my younger sister and she treats me as her older brother."

"Okay, Ilang taon nga pala ang agwat niyo sa isa't-isa?"

"Well, I'm one year older than you and Yrex. So, that makes it thirteen years."

Tumango-tango ito at napailing.

"Mabuti at naging magkaibigan lang kayo, dahil kung nagkataon may isang taong matagal nang nabaliw at tumalon sa bangin dahil sa selos at inggit."

"Don't worry. Kung maging higit pa man sa pagkakaibigan ang relasyon namin ni Amia, nasisiguro ko sa iyo na wala nang magseselos."

"Anong ibig mong sabihin?"

"Na wala nang magseselos dahil mag-asawa na silang dalawa. Anyway, I'm famished. Do you have anything to eat?"
